Mixture of cabins and also camping places makes it a good stop on the way north/south. The restcamp is well run, and looks neat & tidy. Tea/coffee facilities in the room together with a private bathroom. No problems with water despite the nationwide water shortages and power cuts. Pleasant bar/outside area for sitting and a good bar menu too. Considering the other options in Kamanjab then this must be the best place. The scenery is amazing. Climbing up the cliff for sunset and dining at the Eagle’s Nest restaurant was incredible. Accommodation was comfortable -there were a few dead bugs in our room , maybe it hadn’t been swept in a few days but it felt generally clean. Staff were responsive if asked, but (aside from staff at Eagles Nest) weren’t super friendly. Felt a bit like we were inconveniencing the staff when we ordered breakfast.
