The town is known for "Little Charles Bridge", which is a smaller replica of the Charles Bridge in Prague. Also road (walking path to the Castle)
State castle Náměšť nad Oslavou The castle in Náměšť nad Oslavou situated on the rocky part on the left bank of the Oslava river belongs to the important renaissance buildings in Moravia. A medieval stronghold from the 13th century was ruined and in 1565-1578 the Moravian family of Žerotín rebuilt the place to a spacious renaisaince castle, which has not changed much up to the present. Buildings of so called "Vlašský dvůr" in the front area, an English park and a small French garden belong to the castle premises. The stay was good. Nice room, clean and spacious. Staff was friendly overall. We had an issue with the valet service: we gave our car key on Friday evening and asked the car to be ready by 6:30AM the next morning but the valet took more than 10 minutes to find the car key which was stored in a drawer. ...
