Not a fan of carpet in any room for a beach house. But on a more positive note, we had plenty of room, liked the open concept of kitchen, dinning and living area together along with the great large side screened inporch. Nice and roomy pool area. The plus was the great access to beach. For the house not to be directly on beach, you could not ask for a shorter walk, just a hop and skip away. They did not show the big ditch full of water right in front of the house and the grass needed to be cut. I swept the floors as soon as I got there as a precaution as we had small dogs and small children staying there. I swept up a lot of short black dog hair so I'm not so sure the cleaning ppl did a thorough job on the floors. Everything else looked clean.
