The upstairs main area which had the living room, kitchen and master bedroom had no working AC. I contacted the property manager 3x and it wasn’t fixed during the week we were there. Also there was water leaking from the ceiling speaker when it was raining. Someone did come out to check it and said “that happens when it rains, the owner never takes care of it”. It was ridiculous because it was leaking through a surround sound speaker so it’s a scary situation to have water by electrical. The heated pool is definitely a plus in cooler weather and it was enjoyed by all. Please be aware that this property does NOT have a usable crib as advertised. There is one in a closet torn down and we saw no way to put it together causing us to have to rent one for our 2-year old granddaughter. The realty company worked hard to fix any problems we had which is much appreciated. The elevator was a real plus and after our stay here we wouldn't consider renting another property that didn't have one. ##### Linda M. We needed the elevator for my elderly mother, who can barely climb steps. The day of check-in, the management company, Outer Banks Blue, informed us that the elevator was broken but promised a quick repair. Despite repeated promises from Outer Banks Blue, the elevator remained broken for our entire stay. Outer Banks Blue did not offer alternative arrangements. My mother had to sleep on the bottom floor in a small room meant for a child. She was able to enjoy only limited time in the upstairs living and kitchen areas, thoroughly ruining her vacation. After our stay, Outer Banks Blue made an insulting offer of restitution that in no way made up for their neglect. If not for the poor management, this house would have been ideal for our vacation. As it is, I would not rent this house again unless through a different manager. ##### Tracey H. Loved being right in the ocean and loved the ease of getting to anything we wanted or needed. The kids LOVED walking across the street for ice cream ...twice a day lol.
