Sea Breeze Cottage in South Nags Head NC (Mile Post 20) is the perfect vacation cottage for families, Sea Breeze Cottage is a fun and nicely decorated, traditional beach cottage with four bedrooms (3 queen beds and two twin beds) 2 full bathrooms, 1 enclosed outside shower, a fully furnished kitchen, living room, and dining room, air condition game area with foosball and darts, 8 beach chairs\*, some beach toys, wireless high-speed internet (WIFI), and a washer and dryer located on the main level). Each bedroom has a Smart streaming TV. The living area has a gas fireplace for use from November to March only—a 4K UHD Smart flat-screen TV with a Blu-ray DVD player. The cottage has beautiful views of the sunrise from the newly furnished front deck. The back deck, Private Swimming Pool, hot tub, and pond look out over the National Seashore Park with views of the beautiful sunsets from the back deck. Enjoy cooling off in the private saltwater pool (available May through September). Unwind in the hot tub while enjoying spectacular sunsets, take some time to relax on the chairs or bench at the pond, and feed the fish and turtles! Let the ocean breeze drift over you as you relax in the hammock and listen to the sea meet the shore. The beach is only a 2-minute walk away! Build sandcastles, collect shells, wash your cares away with a swim in the ocean, or cast your fishing line just minutes from your cottage at one of the nearby piers or a short drive (4 miles) to the world-famous Oregon Inlet Fishing Center! For your convenience, there is an outdoor fish cleaning station, outdoor grill, enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold running water, and carport/driveway parking for up to 4 vehicles. The cottage layout is perfect for a family to share. Sea Breeze Cottage is conveniently located close to restaurants, shore/water activities, surf fishing/charter fishing areas, shopping areas, and the National Seashore Park. Visit the nearby historic areas like the Lost Colony, the Wright Brothers First Flight Museum, and lighthouses, and even climb the largest sand dune on the East Coast! Take a day trip to other historical areas like Williamsburg, Jamestown & Yorktown. This year, take your family on a vacation that will be remembered for a lifetime. New for the 2026 season, All linens and towels are included in the rental price. In the 2025 season, New flooring in the kitchen, living room, dining room, and hallway. New roof, soffits, and gutters. New living room end tables, lamps with outlets, and USB charging ports where installed. In 2023, the heating and air conditioning system was replaced, and the ceiling was redone and painted, along with a new electrical meter box where installed. In the 2022 season, upgrades included a front deck, outdoor shower, and game room ductless heat pump system. Prior year's upgrades were new - granite countertops, living room furniture with six (6) reclining sofa chairs, pub-style table & chairs seating for 8, both bathrooms were renovated, one (1) with a high-end shower! New front deck and stairs, gas fireplace (October through March), along with new windows and sliding doors. Note: We are doing our best to help prevent the spread of the virus and protect our guests. We have adopted a stringent housekeeping cleaning and sanitation program along with supplying clean and we spanitized 5 sets of bed linens, 8 sets of bath towels, 8 beach towels, 2 bath mats, and 2 kitchen towels. We do ask our guests to do their part and follow the CDC, State, and Local guidelines in the prevention of spreading the virus, so we also have some cleaning supplies available for our guests. We had easy access to the beach, short 2 minute walk. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure and the kitchen had everything we needed for a weeks stay. The pool in the back yard was a huge plus for us, the kids loved it and it was a nice option when taking a break from the beach. With a private pool, hot tub, short walk to the beach, and covered parking, it really fit the bill. The beautiful backyard and turtle pond was an added bonus! The owners are very nice and easy to stay in contact with. We highly recommend this place for families, especially with small children because it is all 1 floor. The house was clean and plenty big enough for our family of 7\. The kitchen is very well stocked. Linens and towels were provided along with a little starter/welcome bag of goodies and necessities. We loved the pool, hot tub, and pond. We loved feeding the turtles. We loved lounging in the hammock. Very short walk to the beach. Booking was easy. Check in was easy. Communication was great. This property was great! It was, as advertised, close to everything, especially the beach which was a very short walk of only a couple of minutes. The property is well maintained, and the cottage was very clean. We loved the updated shower in the main bathroom. Everything worked. There were clear instructions everywhere for everything. There is a neat game room with a foosball table, which would be a fun place on a rainy day. Also in the game room were beach chairs and a couple of wagons to make bringing supplies to the beach very easy. The saltwater pool was excellent, and while we didn't take advantage of the hot tub, it was very clean and both pool and hot tub chemicals are clearly maintained on a rigid schedule. We loved hanging out with the turtles and feeding them. Our stay overlapped a full moon, and we could still see constellations rather easily, letting us know that when the moon is not up at night, the star gazing must be excellent. The check-in and check-out process was simple. All-in-all, we absolutely loved our stay at the Sea Breeze Cottage and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. ##### Scot P.
