Located closely between two public beach accesses, it’s easy to take a stroll to the ocean. Enjoy reading or catching up on emails in the front sun room in one of two cozy sitting areas. The home offers two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen and a shared bathroom. There is a full kitchen with a sun deck off the back. Easy walk to breakfast or dinner at The Dunes Restaurant and putt putt, shopping and ice cream across the highway (there is a crosswalk at stoplight south of the house.) Beds are comfortable and the space is nicely decorated. They had plenty of towels and we were able to cook meals easily enough. We loved how close it was to the beach. Easy 4 minute walk. You can’t really see the ocean from the house, but location was super for our first time at the OBX. Host was responsive and generously accommodated a late departure so we could enjoy the nice day. The place was reasonably clean, although there were little things (sand under rug, mascara on clean washcloths, interior of cupboards).that could use a bit of attention.
