Located right on the oceanfront in middle of Nags Head, Coastal Dunes 2 offers a cozy and comfortable escape for your beach vacation. Sitting directly on the sand, this one-level home is perfect for a small family or group. Coastal Dunes 2 has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed to make sure everyone can rest up each night for another fun day of exploring the beach. With the ocean as your backyard, you and your dogs will love the easy access to the beach, perfect for long walks and days in the sun. Each home has between 1-3 bedrooms, all with direct beach access which is located right behind the cottages. Explore the islands by taking a day trip to Corolla or even hop on the ferry to visit Ocracoke Island. Beach Access: Beach access is directly behind the cottage court or using Small Street to the South of the property. \*Oceanfront homes are subject to beach nourishment projects scheduled by individual towns. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement. Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). This is a super sweet little cottage! It was very clean and included everything we needed for a great getaway. With only steps to the beach, we had lots of great early morning and evening walks. The only issue we had was construction debris in the sand right around the house--rusty nails, screws, and even razor blades bubbled up each time we took our dogs out to potty. Kitchen definitely could be better. While it had all the necessities, the layout was not great. Lower cabinet with pots and pans doesn’t open all the way, and you have to lean over the door due to the stove being in the way. Upper cabinet with glasses and coffee mugs, door opens wrong way, so you have to reach around the door while leaning over the stove. Drip coffee pot warmer was rusted out, so we had to buy keurig cups (instead of using the coffee we brought with us). There was a vacuum cleaner, but it didn’t work (wouldn’t stay on). If I were flying in, I’d choose someplace else as there are no amenities provided past what gets you through a night. Listing clearly states that, so not a surprise, but would be nicer if refillable amenities were installed (dispensers for shampoo/conditioner, body soap for the shower, hand soap for the bathroom sink, and dish soap in the kitchen. Also, only one roll of toilet paper is provided… just seems like a bigger supply could be provided given the nightly price of the stay). Management company was very responsive and friendly. Location was interesting. A four-cottage quad, pretty market ch right on a dune. This cottage had another cottage between it and the beach, so no view. Parking was in the sand, so AWD/4WD is a must!
