The backyard is fully fenced in with access from the back porch and even has a doggy door in the dining room for Fido to come and go as you allow. Please note \* VRBO map location is approximate. We are on the west side of 158- not the east side as the map sometimes shows. (We cannot adjust the map. It is set up by VRBO.) The main level of the house has a living room, a dining room with seating for six, full kitchen, and a half bath. The master bedroom, also located on the main living level, features a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a double shower head and jetted whirlpool tub. The spacious covered back porch - accessed from the sliding glass doors off of the kitchen and dining room - features a large, comfortable outdoor seating group, a dining table with seating for six, and a gas grill. The upper level of the home has the remaining two bright, spacious bedrooms, both with queen beds, high-definition streaming televisions, and a shared full bathroom. The ground level has outside access leading directly to the outside shower and front yard, a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, and a desk that is perfectly tucked away in a quiet corner for remote Zoom calls or work, should the need arise. Guest access - You can access the entire house except for the garage and the locked ground floor rooms, and the owner's closets. The fireplace is NOT functional or for guest use. The garage is not accessible to guests. Other things to note The minimum age to rent is 25\. ABSOLUTELY no parties or overnight outside guests will be allowed. You will be asked to leave immediately and will not receive a refund of any kind. Adult dogs ONLY - 2 maximum - WITH PET FEE. Dogs must be house-trained, friendly (in case we need to access the house), up to date on flea meds and shots, and well-socialized. Dogs are not to be left alone unattended in the house uncrated for extended periods of time. You must let us know in advance if you plan to bring your dog. Be sure to pick up after your dog in all areas and keep your dog off the furniture. If you have a "shedding" type breed, clean-up also means hair within reason. Please note that this is a vacation rentals and not a hotel. (We mean that in the absolute nicest way!) You will need to roll trash carts out for trash pickup, do your dishes, etc., and basically leave the house reasonably as you found it. If you use the grill, please clean it before departure for the next guests. Our cleaners do not clean grills. The amenity is provided with the understanding that you may have to clean it before use and that you understand we ask that you clean it before departure. We apologize in advance if the guest before you was not so courteous. If you use the last of the propane in one of the tanks, please let us know or replace it. If you break something, please replace it or let us know ahead of time so that we can be proactive for the next guests. We know accidents happen! We provide one set of bath towels per expected guest. We do not provide beach towels. We provide the first roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towels. Additional needs are the guests' responsibility. We are your neighbors and live just a couple of miles away. Really close to grocery stores and all the great things Nagshead has to offer. We highly recommend this beautiful home, and we will absolutely stay again. We loved the comfort of this home-like cottage and its furnishings. The beds were the most comfortable we've had in our over 30 years of Outerbanks cottage rentals. We loved the spacious covered back porch as well as the fenced in backyard that was perfect for our dog. The location was super quiet yet located in easy access to everything we wanted. We were grateful to have the convenience of the stoplight that allowed us to easily cruise across the main highway and down Barnes street to pop one block over to Bonnett street where the rest of our family had rented cottages. We used the Bonnett street beach access that has an excellent bathroom house and a lifeguard stand as well. We enjoyed the nearby Morning View Coffee House and also the very close proximity to our favorite restaurant Tortuguas' Lie. The cottage had everything we needed including the convenience of the beds pre-made with sheets and nice towels. ##### Jessica T. Everything from check-in to day-to-day activities to checking out went smoothly. The home is well stocked with anything you’d need to live comfortably, and the fenced in back yard was perfect for our dogs. We were a quick drive or short walk from the beach and also a short drive to the sound. Close proximity to restaurants, bars, and other activities. Hosts are responsive and attentive. The location is ideal (easy access to everything great about OBX) and the house set up easily accommodated our family of four and my wife's parents plus their dog. The hosts are great with communication and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family! ##### Brenton S. I stayed here with 5 friends for a long weekend and we really enjoyed it. The location of the house was so convenient. We could walk to the beach, plus walked to a couple of different spots for coffee/breakfast. The house was easy to get to from the main road, and we loved the back porch for dinner and hanging out! The hosts were also very communicative.
