Rooms are good. Great location for buses for the Tsuga resort. Good food around. Staff is great. I'm 6'5" so toilet was tight for me. But other than that I enjoyed my stay

About a 5 minute walk from the main gondola at Tsugaike Kogen, and a 15 minute taxi ride from JR Hakuba station. Overall I would say the location is very good if you are looking for proximity to a ski resort without the late night hustle and bustle of Echoland/Happo One. Tsugaike Kogen is a very beginner friendly resort. Also closeby to the Hakuba Valley Shuttle (7 min walk). Restaurant selection in the area is decent! The public baths in this hotel are relatively quiet during off peak hours and a nice treat after a ski day - but with the size of the indoor and outdoor baths I can imagine it can feel crowded once 6+ people are there. The rooms are a very nice size and very clean. Bed is a bit firm but overall a comfortable stay. Daily breakfast is nice and offers a small variety of foods - mostly Japanese foods but some western items as well (cereal, french fries, yogurt, bread).

First time staying at Granjam. Absolutely delightful. Room is clean, spacious and hotel staff are all thoughtful. Be sure to check out their daily dinner set menu...best japanese meals we have ever had!

The hotel room is very nice and clean. Also very convenient for skier as there is separate ski locker and dryer room entrance after you back from the ski resort. The dinner and breakfast is impressive and delicious! Last but not least, there is onsen in the hotel which refresh us for the next day’s snowboarding.
