Shuttle is great. Loved that the ski rental shop is right in the hotel. I wish the hot springs was a bit bigger and had more amenities but it was a nice way to relax after a day of skiing. The bar and restaurant is not open during the day which we didn’t realize. Free shuttles available to and from the slopes. Individual locker’s provided if you are bringing your own snowboards/skis. Drying room you can use. Self laundry/dryer facilities available to use. Onsen free to use after each day on the slope. We also booked a massage with Lily for last night and she was fantastic together with an aromatherapy treatment. We loved our stay at the Hakuba Tokyu Hotel! We only had 2 nights in the area but wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the Happo One Gondola (and other ski resorts if necessary) and to the train station - very helpful! It is in an excellent location - close to the Happo One Gondola and plenty of places to eat. We ate in the hotel itself and the food and service were excellent. The onsen was incredibly clean and relaxing. A bit of a walk (15-20 minute) to the village. The town offers a shuttle bus which take you to the ski locations and stops at a variety of drop off locations. It would be nice if the hotel would offer their shuttle, then you would not have to wait for the town shuttle or pay the expensive taxi rates (if you could get a taxi). And he did it all with a smile on his face and helped make our holiday a beauty! Nice hotel with friendly staff. The hotel was very covid conscious and clean. It is well located and the Hakuba valley shuttle bus stops at the hotel. While the buffet breakfast was nice, the on-site French restaurant - Chamonix was disappointing. The staff made us pre-order food when we booked the table and we couldn’t adapt meals to cater for gluten free.
