The accommodations met my needs and the staff went above and beyond to make sure all of the guests were cared for. I highly recommend Gray Inn for a stay during vacation.It is a very nice place.

I found little insects crawling on my white bedding and bed and had to go and buy insect spray. Also the shower and shower floor was dirty as well. The receptionist was unfriendly so I wouldn't go back there. Very disappointed by the whole experience. Smugglers Cove is super clean with friendly staff.

Not the room I booked, paper thin walls could hear everything in the next room including sex, not happy given I was with my 13yr old grandson. No kettle or fridge in the room. Not once in 5 days did we get offered fresh towels. I watched a house maid clean a room after guests stayed in the room she only changed the pillow cases not the sheets, grossed me out!

Most notably, the Expedia description said that a basic double room came with a private bathroom. That’s not true. It’s shared bathroom and I was unprepared for that. The facilities are ok. A little run down but clean. Mosquitoes get into the room because there are holes in the window screens and gaps under and above the door. I’m glad I had a plugin mosquito repellent. But I got bitten by red ants… Another challenge is that it’s a bit of a walk from the main road. Since it gets dark at around 6pm, I didn’t feel comfortable walking back to my room from restaurants on the Main Street (I think it’s called queens rd) at night after dinner. And it’s too close to take a taxi from Main Street restaurants to the hotel. The staff is nice and offered to keep an eye for me as I walked back. Regardless, I avoided walking after dark as much as possible. Otherwise, it’s fine for a short stay.
