More stairs at this minshuku as there's no elevator. Facilities are quite worn but clean. Wished that there's more privacy at the shared baths as the changing area is right next to the door that opens to the corridor. The bath water was quite good tho, with iron content. However no info on bathing etiquette provided so I suggest foreigners read up on Japanese onsen bathing etiquette if you are not familiar. My room faced the train station but I was not disturbed by noise. It was also well-insulated, I think, as I did not feel cold in the room even though the weather was chilly. Yukata provided (surprise). Breakfast was surprisingly good and filling. Some local small family owned restaurants nearby provide good foods in a very reasonable prices too. A larger supermarket about 10 mins away has excellent choices of foods and ALCOHOL at a very very good price.
