The power went out unexpectedly and they were on it quickly with the generator to provide power to finish cooking dinner, take a shower, etc. The whole place is just perfect for anyone looking to relax, disconnect, and enjoy Mt Rainier and the surrounding area. Aug 6, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy Loved the place. A comfy little 1 bedroom loft in a beautiful area. Check in was easy and communication was prompt. Lots of little extras including toiletries, coffee, a cooler, a forest road map, and much more made this especially comfortable. On a pretty little lake with lots of turtles, fish, and birds to calm the soul. Great launch pad to explore the surrounding mountains. Is a bit far from Yakima (30 miles) so be aware if you intend to go into town a lot. Probably best to bring your own food and drink. Though we did enjoy Yakima's microbreweries a few nights.
