Pros: good breakfast, easy check-in Cons: very thin walls, neighbors were noisy quite late and it was hard to sleep at night. It was okay for one night, however would recommend staying elsewhere if spending more time in this area.

I had a beautiful view from my room, and they have separate houses with only a view rooms so it was nice and quiet. One of the more private hotels.

Great location.

Great location to the lake, sulfer steam pots, Kafla, and good restaurants for every budget. Good walking trails too. Gas station close by.

Cute place, very well situated. But take earplugs. Quiet hours are until 7am but the hotel was crashing about making breakfast from 6am so we couldn't sleep any further. About what you'd expect for a hostel type experience

Wonderful staff left us a notes with detailed instructions for our late check-in. Thank you! It’s nice to know they’re offering laundry service, even we didn’t have a chance to do it. Very clean room; like the” shoes off” idea. One bathroom door has very loud scratches sounds when open and close it. Will recommend it for it’s location too😊

This guesthouse had everything we needed while travelling the ring road via Mývatn. The rooms were clean, but definitely not sound proof as other guests using the kitchen were easily heard through the door. The guesthouse was close to the Myvatn nature baths as well as lake Myvatn.

Can’t beat the location when it comes to accessing all the incredible naturalistic beauty in the area. Easy check-in and good place to rest for two nights. A bit noisy with the thin walls, but thats what you come to expect when staying at guesthouses. Worth it for the price!
