À notre arrivée, nous avons eue la surprise de voir que la réservation avait été annulée par l'hôtel. Nous avons réussi à avoir une chambre mais non sans complication. Après 20 heures de route en voiture que de plaisir que de se faire dire Ahhhhhh non nous voyons bien que vous avez réservé via Hotels.com mais nous avons flushé votre réservation....et ben. L'hôtel a gelé dans le temps des années 1970 et ne fait que corriger les problèmes majeurs au lieu d'investir dans son établissement. Donc des problèmes il y en a à la pelletée.....et il en apparaît de nouveaux à tout les jours. Cela va des fourmis rouges dans l'espace gazon qui piquent ( la direction est au courant de la situation mais ne corrige rien). L'air climatisé qui est plein de moissisures etc.... De plus le WiFi n'est à peu près pas disponible... Cela dépend de la chambre et il faut aller sur le coin de la poubelle pour obtenir un semblant de signal...On est tout de même en 2017\. DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL!!! This hotel is disgusting!! They do not clean the rooms after each use. The man at the front desk put me in a room that the shower had dirt grime built up, sand on the floor like it had not been swept, and there was long black hair stuck on the wall of the shower wall. The dirt and sand was all over the room also. It felt very dirty!! The sink was gross!! They kept the used shampoo and soap in the shower from the person before. We stayed ONLY because he said he was sold out, no other hotels had availability, and i needed some sleep before hitting the road the next morning. While driving, i got a message from the man at the front desk telling me they were charging me for a cleaning fee of cleaning hair in the bathroom and a small drop of juice from my child on the blanket, that would have came out very easily in the wash. I told him that is not fair to charge me for issues that were there prior to us coming other than a small spot on a blanket that needed to be washed anyways. I never heard back, they do not care!! Check the room before you check in and pay and leave. I was charged $50 to check in early. The room was not very clean and floors were sticky. There is a coffee pot in the room with nothing to make coffee with, not even coffee filters. There isn’t a phone in the room to call the front desk. We stayed four days, and housekeeping NEVER came to our room, to make up the room, take trash, or provide clean towels. When we asked for towels and housekeeping to attend to the room, we were told that there is an additional $25 fee, per day, for them to service the room? What? There is not an ice machine or any vending machines in the property. The front desk charges $3.15 for a 7 pound bag of ice, that WE had to go across the street to get from a motels locked ice box and then return the key to the front desk! We killed 2 roaches in the room during our stay. The batteries were dead in the tv remote. The jets did not work in the jacuzzi, it was hot water though. There is not an elevator on the property. We were given a 3rd floor room and my husband is disabled (2 hip replacements) but had to climb the stairs to the room. There is not enough parking for 1 car per room! People Double parked, blocking other patrons! They charged $50 to our room, “ incidental “ because there was “sand” in the bathroom shower and on the used towels….ummm…well this is a BEACH FRONT hotel! The staff were very rude as was the front desk clerk! There were 6-8 cats roaming around and climbing on vehicles. The motel is right on the beach for easy access. Private parking. Our room came with a kitchen, so we could have cooked any meal if we wanted. We did pay for an ocean view room, but our view ended up being the stairs to go up to the top levels. We tried to discuss some discount/reimbursement but were unsuccessful but not a big deal as we still enjoyed our room. Rooms are not very sound proof so we heard lots of yelling and slamming doors, but it did not inconvenience us much.
