This is the perfect place for a couples retreat! All the comforts of home but with spectacular views off the direct oceanfront private balcony. This completely updated oceanfront studio is located at the North end of the "Golden Mile" - close enough to walk to local restaurants and attractions without being in the thick of the crowds. This is an 8th floor King Suite at the Sand Dunes Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. This ocean front studio is fully furnished with 1 king bed, 2 accent chairs, large dresser and closet for storage, dining table and chairs, TV with basic cable, complimentary wifi, private bathroom with tub/shower and vanity, and a fully functioning kitchen. In addition to the beautiful, modern updates inside, this condo has its own private balcony with table and chairs from which past guests have enjoyed spotting dolphins and watching beautiful sunsets! The kitchen features a mini fridge, full size microwave, and kitchen sink. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic cookware, utensils, dishes and cups, and everything you need to cook a small meal! A Keurig coffee maker is also provided so you can enjoy your favorite brew while you watch the sunrise. For guests who prefer to dine out, Myrtle Beach has hundreds of incredible dining options within a short drive or by foot. Of course, many restaurants offer delivery as well. All bath towels, toiletries, bedding, and linens are provided. We also provide starter amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner for each reservation. A hair dryer is also provided for your use as well. Sand Dunes also offers numerous indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi, sauna, onsite restaurants, huge arcade, and even more amenities for you and your family to enjoy before relaxing in this beautiful unit. The listing doesn’t state the resort name or unit number which would’ve been helpful. We called 3 different numbers before reaching the LOCAL property manager in order to receive our check in instructions. There is no bathroom fan to clear steam from the room (mold?), the mini freezer was frozen solid & the fridge didn’t hold temp at max, elevators were inoperable or filthy with trash. Dirty laundry and trash sat by the elevator doors on our floor for 2 days! The resort in general was just dirty and a maze to navigate through. We were disappointed in general. We had a nice time, but not great. The indoor pool and whirlpool were under construction, and it was too cool to use the outdoor pool. Also, the bed was extremely firm. If that's what you like, this is your place. For us, it was painful to lay on. I brought camping mats to soften it up just in case. That saved my husband who has a history of failed back surgery. Unfortunately for me, my mat wouldn't inflate. On the last night, I slept in the chair. The rent was very reasonable and the check-in and out was convenient.
