The cost of a visitor meter pass is currently $50 per week (Spring 2024). Q: 'Do I have to clean/make the beds/do the laundry?' A: NO - You are on vacation! However, we do ask that you treat the property with care so it stays nice for others & follow a few guidelines before you leave: Please empty the refrigerator, bag up your trash & take out any excess that won't fit in the cans, and wash your dishes or load/run the dishwasher (if equipped) before you leave. We do not expect you to clean or do laundry before you check out, but we do ask that you tidy up after yourself with those few items that are not included in the cleaning fee. Q: 'Do you allow pets?' A: MAYBE - We love pets and travel with our own when we can. However, there are building rules that we must follow. SMALL DOGS are allowed WITH PRE-APPROVAL ONLY. There are some restrictions on dogs, so this is a case by case basis. A pet fee of $75 per dog (per stay - not per night) is required to be paid prior to check in. Cats are not allowed. Please contact us for approval of your dog PRIOR TO BOOKING. Q: 'Can I smoke in the unit or on the balcony?' A: NO, sorry – SMOKING OF ANY KIND IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in this unit and on the balcony - no exceptions. It is very costly to have a service remove smoking odors - especially in the short time between guests. If we need to have the unit treated because of the smell of smoke or if we find that you have tampered with the smoke detectors to hide that smoking has occurred, it will result in a minimum $250 charge. A: YES - The kitchen is equipped with the basic items needed for cooking/eating. If there is some specialty small appliance you enjoy, please feel free to bring it along. The Neighborhood: If you need a break from the beach, try out one of the area’s many miniature golf courses, walk to the Cane Patch par 3 course and driving range just a few blocks away, or check out one of the many 18-hole golf courses within a 5-minute drive of the condo, including Pine Lakes Country Club, Grande Dunes, Arcadian Shores Golf Club, or Dunes Golf & Beach Club! For a little “retail therapy”, check out one of the two Tanger Outlets in the area, head over to the Coastal Grand Mall, take a walk around The Market Common, or wander into one of the many beach shops along Ocean Blvd. or King’s Hwy. Take in a show or concert at the nearby House of Blues, Alabama Theater, or Carolina Opry. At Legends In Concert, you just might see Elvis! For some entertaining dining, you can watch a joust at Medieval Times or hang out with pirates at Pirate’s Voyage. Broadway at the Beach is just about 5 miles from the condo, where you’ll find a premier shopping center filled with everything from amazing shops and live entertainment to zipline, helicopter, and jet boat excursions. Here you can enjoy a day of shopping, feed a stingray at the fantastic Ripley’s Aquarium, take the kids on a carnival ride at the Pavillion Nostalgia Park, or check out Wonder Works for some educational fun. There is so much to do that the freedom of a car is very nice. However, other transportation options are available. There is a bus line that runs the length of Ocean Blvd. There are also plenty of taxi cabs available - including a taxi stand at Broadway at the Beach in case you need a ride back from the clubs. Uber and Lyft are plentiful and inexpensive. Other Things to Note: Enjoy the OPEN AIR arrival with NO FRONT DESK CHECK-IN at this home away from home. Please be aware that it is very busy during bike weeks, especially during Atlantic Beach Bike Fest, and the can lead to police managed traffic flows, a lot of traffic, and crowded conditions in the area. In addition, our busiest week is 4th of July week. While parking is ample, it is on a 1st come 1st served basis and you may need to park in overflow lots or on the street during the busiest times. This unit is self-catering. Consumable items such as toiletries, cleaning products, and paper products are not included. Starter rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, and hotel size soap and shampoo are provided as a courtesy, but guests will need to bring or purchase additional supplies after these are used up. Amenities may be subject to closure/interruption without notice due to inclement weather, new restrictions, or other unforeseen issues as determined by the HOA, service providers, and building management. Food and beverage facilities run by the front desk are not accessible when renting privately. However, there are many food and beverage options very close, including a fantastic beach bar next door. In case you are traveling in a larger group, we rent other condos in the building. Feel free to contact us at any time should you need to rent another condo. There were 2 dead bugs upon arrival (1 in tub - 1 by sliding door). I live near the beach so understand and saw no others. The sliding door only had a wooden bar in tray. I did call to say I needed to feel more secure. The staff took care of that while I was out of the room (which they didn't text to say they were doing or entering my room so I wasn't aware until I checked it later). The staff was on top of things! I feel the owner should update the pictures since they are no longer using the decor and only using white comforter with no decor. didn't look as cozy. The light on nightstand was unplugged so I had to move the bed to plug it in. The TV cord could not reach the outlet. Fortunately, I bring an extension cord when I travel, but the next guest will probably not be carrying a cord. The refrigerator did not work so ruined my groceries. Finally after a full 24 hours of jiggling the refrigerator and cord it started working. The staff did try to replace the refrigerator after 24 hours, but the motor was finally running. The location is perfect as it's very close to the beach. A lot of the people who live in that small complex smoke so the smells outside were annoying, but the unit itself was fine. ##### Lorene Séjour de 3 nuits en octobre 2023 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Jonathon Voyage en groupe 10 juill. 2023 Points forts : Propreté, commodités Overrall stay was good, some maintenance things need attended to. Door jam is cracked and some moisture rust in bathroom. Toilet seat is old and cracking. Beds were pretty firm and have a protective sleeve around the mattress so if you move to get comfortable it is kind of loud when other people are trying to sleep. Host was great and very communicative. I believe the overall value is there and would recommend. ##### Jonathon Séjour de 2 nuits en juillet 2023 ### 8/10 – Bien #### TODD S. 24 juin 2023 Points forts : Propreté #### For 2 people, it was Fine For 2 people and a doggie it was fine. If my other son had come along, it would have been crowded with 3 people. I am use to a sitting area, but it was OK for 2 people. Next time, i will need to verify 2 beds with a sitting of living room area. The location was excellent, the room was clean, however there was no coffee maker. We, Americans live on coffee. Overall, it was fine, thank yo. ##### TODD S. Séjour de 4 nuits en juin 2023 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Allen V. 5 juin 2023 Points forts : Propreté #### Beach trip 2023 The room was clean but very small. Had to put in a light bulb and repair the front door exit handle. It came off in my wifes hand. Minor fix. Just used a Allen wrench to tighten the set screw. Also fyi the small remote control is missing the battery cover. It was like this when we arrived. All in all the trip was a good one. Thank you ##### Allen V.
