When we arrived late evening ( 7:30pm), the owner was still cleaning the place up. I want to be fair and state the owner was very nice and repeatedly stated that we could call her if we needed anything, however, the unit was not in ready for us and the owner really needs to address some things before renting again. The unit was not as clean as we would have expected. We had to go to the store to buy cleaning product to clean the bathrooms, floors, and kitchen. The unit had a lot of personal items in and around the place. There were piles of junk in closets and the carpeting going up the stairs is badly stained and worn. The central A/C is very poor. They try to supplement with window A/C units, but that wasnt adequate. The owner stated she "thinks" the sheets are clean, so we went and bought new sheets just in case. This was one of the most disappointing VRBO's I have ever rented. The unit has potenrial, but the owner really needs to address some things before renting again. This home was very close to everything and right down the street from the Best seafood buffet! The beds were very comfortable, and there is a brand new washer and dryer.
