External Living | Private Pool & Outdoor Unique Features  
Armonia Villa with its own private pool (6 x 4 meters, 1.50 m deep) & lawn covered area. The landscape outside your door makes this dreamy abode one you’ll be inspired to write home about. The Villa is located right across an old church, in a stone-paved narrow street, in a traditional settlement, which will immediately put you in the mood of the local way of life. Entering the Villa’s, arched, wooden door, you will find yourselves in your own personal Eden, a romantic courtyard of 100 sq. m., decorated with ceramic pithoi, potted plants and airy curtains.  
  
The stone walls and wooden fence will provide absolute privacy while the red roof tiles. The pool terrace is equipped with an outdoor shower and WC, sun beds and umbrellas, for your outmost comfort and relaxation. Additionally, BBQ facilities, outdoor dining and sitting areas are also available, inviting you to try al fresco dining, an experience that you will certainly love. Summer afternoons sat outdoors, hearing at the night birds and gazing upon the shiny stars, will create cherished reveries which will last long after your perfect holiday ends.  
  
The area is very quiet, especially in the evening, when you can saunter around the charming villages with the only dilemma being choosing your favourite building, pathway or olive tree. To make things even better, right next to the Villa, there’s a garden with home grown, seasonal vegetables, where our guests are free to hand-pick everything they need for their salads and meals! Finally, bicycles are provided, so you can explore the village and nearby locations, exercise or just take a long walk which is the most convenient way to relief your stress.  
  
Internal Living | Bedrooms & Bathrooms  
Villa Armonia is ideal for a couple’s vacation, but also for a small group as it can accommodate up to 4 guests. It’s a ground floor property, which covers 70 sq. m. and provides easy access to the indoor and outdoor spaces. As you enter the Villa, an open-plan area consisting of the living room, the fully equipped kitchen and the dining area, welcomes you right away on your left. The wooden ceiling, open fireplace and comfortable sofas, will make you instantly feel at home!Each sofa converts to a sofa bed that can sleep 2 additional guests.  
  
Ground floor:  
Double-bedroom with Queen Size bed (1,60x 2,00), en-suite bathroom with shower cabin, lightened up with natural light from the window, 32’’ Satellite TV.  
  
In case you are travelling with a baby, please let us know as a baby cot, high chair, baby bath and a stroller are available on request. A laundry room featuring a washing machine, cleaning utensils, iron and iron board is also available. Once the day is done there is nothing more heavenly than returning to this private haven and have a revitalising, good night’s sleep.

Location Overview  
  
Armonia villa is located in the village of Pasalites. The village is a small settlement in the prefecture of Rethymno and the municipality of Mylopotamos. It is located in the northern foothills of Psiloritis in semi-mountainous terrain and east-southeast of the city of Rethymno. The villa ,with its ancient history and authentic ways of life, is An ideal place to learn about customs, traditions and experience a rural life. Also in the village guests will find a regional taverna as well as a traditional cafe. Throughout the area the visitor is invited to walk in a region of particular natural beauty, to admire important monuments and to experience the customary local hospitality. We are pleased to offer our delightful region for excursions or holidays, combining naturalist and archaeological routes that, in their total, constitute an important 'map' of experiences.  
  
Perama town which is within 7 minutes driving you will find everything that you might desire like shops, bakery, grocery store, butcher’s, taverns, cafes, supermarkets, ATM machines, pharmacies, gas stations and post office. Also Panormo, is a friendly sea side village, approximately 16 minutes away by car and well known for its sandy beaches. The two main beaches are Limanaki and Limni. Both of them are sandy with clear blue water and ideal for kids, as they are shallow and well protected from winds. The beaches are organised and equipped with sun beds & umbrellas. Water sports are also available. The harbour beach in front of the village is the port of the area, where the boats tie up, this beach is unorganised.  
  
Panormos village has all the facilities and amenities one would need : well-stocked mini-markets, post office, pharmacy, a doctor’s office, a butcher's shop, bakery (hot, fresh bread every morning from 9 am), various gift shops and traditional seaside shops at very reasonable prices.

#### Un petit paradis

Les photos illustrent bien la beauté de la maison, mais elle ne montrent pas le village, bien restauré, bien entretenu, fleuri a l'envie. Très propre, des meubles de qualité. Merci à la propriétaire qui était très accueillante et très gentille'! Elle nous a accueilli chaleureusement avec fruits + repas du soir + conseils + nous a fait des cadeaux tout le long du sejour ( gâteaux fait maison, fruits, etc...)même un cadeau de départ. La villa est est très propre et très bien entretenu, le jardin est magnifique.Située dans un endroit isolé vous serez au calme un véhicule est indispensable pour visiter ou faire des courses. #### Very nice villa in tiny village

Perfect villa for a couple, for 2 weeks vacation in rethymno area. The village is quiet and peaceful so you can relax all time. We enjoyed the barbecue and the pool during a warm (26-28°c) sunny september season. Perama can be reached by car within few min and offer all kind of shops for daily food. Everything went fine from the booking & the follow up with Thinkvilla to the kindness of Amalia who brought us various home made gifts to enjoy cretan food even more. Thank you.

#### Un superbe séjour

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour. La maison était d'une rare propreté et la piscine ....... magnifique. Le village ( hameau ? ) était très tranquille tout en étant à quelques kilomètres de la mer. Mais que dire d'Amalia ? C'est un concentré de l'hospitalité crétoise, gentillesse, disponibilité et générosité !! Nous avons déjà réservé pour l'année prochaine. Merci Amalia et à bientôt.

#### Superbe maison au calme et bien équipée. Accueil très chaleureux

Nous avons été reçus comme des rois par Amalia avec un repas crétois tout prêt en arrivant ! Nous nous sommes enfermés dehors et elle venue nous ouvrir aussitôt, bref superbe accueil. La maison est fonctionnelle et agréable, la piscine un peu fraîche mais nous en avons tout de même profité ! Un seul bémol le sommier du lit un petit peu trop dur pour nous ... Hallo liebe Amalia,wir möchten uns auch hier nochmal bei dir für den wunderbaren und erholsamen Urlaub bedanken. Dein Haus ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und hat alles, was man für einen schönen Urlaub braucht. Alles war perfekt sauber. Der liebevoll von dir gepflegte Garten und natürlich der Pool machen alles vollkommen. Die absolute Ruhe in Pasalites, ein sehr gepflegtes kleines Dorf, war perfekt für uns. Über deine kleinen Überraschungen am Morgen, mal Kuchen oder Gebäck, mal frisches Gemüse und Eier, haben wir uns gefreut.Auch Valia von der Vermietungsagentur hat ihre Hilfe angeboten. #### Im Herzen von Kreta herzlicher Empfang

Der Aufenthalt entsprach allen Wünschen, das Haus ist ideal eingerichtet, die Anlagen sehr sauber, der Empfang sehr herzlich mit guten Reisetipps, lokalen Spezialitäten und wahrer Gastfreundlichkeit. Einen unendlichen Dank gilt Amalia. Die Kommunikation mit ihr war perfekt auf Englisch. Es ist ein Ort, wo man sich zurückziehen kann und in Ruhe Urlaub machen kann. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

#### A secret gem!

When I booked Armonia Villa, I did not know anything about the village, the town or the area of Crete and I’m so glad I booked it. We had the most wonderful week staying in this beautiful villa, with is pretty courtyard garden, peaceful reading alcove, superb swimmming pool, but most of all, our kind and gracious host, Amalia.She was super helpful sharing local knowledge with us, and even leaving us little treats each day. The area was quiet and peaceful, but also within easy reach of Rethymno and. Chania. I highly recommend Armonia Villa, and thank Amalia most sincerely for making our stay so special.

#### Schönster Urlaub den wir je hatten!

Wir sind immer noch begeistert und sprachlos. Das Haus ist wunderschön, genau wie auf den Bildern. Der Pool ist grandios und es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt hat. Gelegen in einem Mini-Dorf auf einem Berg, mit völliger Ruhe (und ich meine völlige Ruhe. Wer also Aktion sucht, ist hier falsch) - für uns war es perfekt, denn genau das haben wir gesucht und gebrauch. Ein Auto ist natürlich ein Muss. Jetzt das Wichtigste für uns, was wir bewerten möchten: Amalia und Ihre Familie! Wir wurden so unfassbar liebevoll umsorgt. Ob mit Leckereien, einem sauberen Haus oder einfach nur kurzen Nachrichten ob alles in Ordnung sei oder wir etwas benötigten. DANKE! für dieses tolle Haus und diese tollen Gastgeber. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to rent one of the finest villas we have ever stayed at in all our 30 years of traveling in the Greek islands. Villa Armonia is perfect! And the most exceptional part of our stay was our wonderful host, Amalia, who showered us with kindness, food and wine. The villa is impeccable, and the pool served us so well during the heat of our Crete Holiday over our three week stay. The villa is located a 10 minute drive from the nearest village in a lovely cluster of buildings including a small church. The silence was amazing. We rate this stay a 10 out of 10. Mel & Marilyn

We had a simply wonderful time staying at Villa Armonia. A beautiful little property, the garden is spectacular. We especially loved the location, with the pool right next to the beautiful church. The Village location is stunning and felt very far from the crowds. We would visit again in a heartbeat. Our children 6 and 9 loved it. My wife and I also really enjoyed sitting out in the evenings over a glass of wine. The owner was exceptionally hospitable, leaving gifts and made us hugely welcome. A pefect stay. Thankyou.

#### Toller Aufenthalt in ruhiger familiärer Umgebung

Ich fange mal ganz vorne an 😉 Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich von Amalia der Eigentümerin dieses tollen Hauses empfangen. Sie hat uns direkt gefragt ob wir hungrig sind und uns unmittelbar ein paar leckere Kleinigkeiten zubereitet. Nicht zu vergessen das es sich um Selbstverpflegung handelt 🥰 Das Haus, der Pool und die tollen Sitzgelegenheiten sind wirklich wunderschön. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Wir haben uns sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt! Jeden Morgen hat Amalia gegen 06:30 Uhr den Pool gereinigt, die Pflanzen gegossen und den Aussenbereich gekehrt. Das habe ich nur mitbekommen, weil ich morgens zu dieser Zeit immer laufen gegangen bin. Wichtig zu wissen ist allerdings das ohne Auto nichts geht. Der winzige Ort liegt etwas abgelegen im Hinterland. Bis Rethymno sind es etwa 35-40 Min. Der Strand ist gut in 20-25 Min. zu erreichen. Tolle Tavernen finden sich aber an jeder Ecke (auch in den kleinsten Orten) und sind praktisch uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Fazit: Wir haben den Aufenthalt extrem genossen und können hier eine maximale Empfehlung aussprechen🤩

#### Far beyond our expectation, the perfect holiday home, so tranquil , quite and intimate.

When we first walked in my partner was so overwhelmed with the beauty of the property she became close to tears, for us, this was the perfect holiday home. A car is absolutely necessary and the shops, bars, restaurants etc are a 15 minute drive away but the slight inconvenience is far outweighed by the tranquility of the spotlessly clean villa. Amalia the owner is always on hand with any requests and goes out of her way to help.

#### TOP !!!!! Ein Juwel von Haus mit einer bezauberten Gastgeberin.

Wir waren 17 Tage im Haus und haben jeden Tag davon genossen. Erholung pur! Ein Kleinod wie in den vielen anderen Bewertungen zu vor schon geschrieben. Die Bilder der Anzeige sind 100 Prozent übereinstimmend. Es ist alles äußerst gepflegt und sauber. Amalia, die Gastgeberin, kam jeden Morgen zur Pflege des Pools,der Blumen und des Innenhofes. Wir haben Sie nie gehört oder gesehen, konnten das Ergebnis aber bewundern und haben uns über die vielen kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten am Morgen sehr gefreut. Der Kontakt hat über Whats Up bestens funktioniert. Wir sagen Danke! Ein Auto ist Pflicht. Nötiger Einkauf kann in dem 5 km entfernten, uncharmaten Städtchen Perama umfassend erledigt werden.

#### An idyllic holiday

This is a scrupulously clean, private villa in a very picturesque location, hosted most generously by Amalia. Two of us stayed here but there is room for a family of 4-6 (there are two double sofa beds in the lounge area). The garden is just beautiful, with lots of nooks for relaxation and reading and the pool was most welcoming, even in October, when the temperature rose to 25+ degrees. There is also a bbq. Amalia provided water and breakfast and fruit for our first day which was so thoughtful- we spent a leisurely first morning in the garden. She also brought us cake and biscuits and donuts on some subsequent mornings when she came to clean the pool. Her visits were never intrusive. The village is tucked away in an elevated spot with views of the mountains. This was quiet and peaceful and away from the half-term crowds and allowed a taste of the real Crete. Grocery shops, artist shops, the beach, caves and dining are all very accessible. Even the drive to the south coast was easy from here. We spent a very relaxing time and I can’t thank Amalia enough for all she did.

#### Phantastisch

Die Villa ist ein einziges Juwel. Als ich am Bergdorf ankam dachte ich zuerst "oh Gott, alles Ruinen", aber in der Mitte des kleinen Dorfes angekommen fand ich ein wundervolles Stück Erde. Man hat seine Ruhe (die ich ja gerade wollte) und kann herrlich entspannen. Eine Auto ist jedoch ein Muss, sonst ist man aufgeschmissen. Die Vermieterin Amalia war sehr zuvorkommend, aber dabei sehr dezent und zurückhaltend, absolut nicht aufdringlich. Sie ist jeden Tag gegen 7 Uhr morgens erschienen (ohne sich bemerkbar zu machen) und hat den Pool gereinigt. Dabei hat sie hin und wieder eine "Überraschung" hinterlassen. Einmal standen kleine Schoko-Berliner auf meinem Terrassentisch, ein anderes Mal Walnüsse und frisch getrocknete Weinbeeren etc. ... Sie ist ein wirklicher Schatz. In der Villa fehlt einem an Nichts und auch dort waren bei meiner Ankunft kalte Getränke im Kühlschrank vorbereitet (Bier, Cola, Limonade, Wasser). Weiterhin standen Snacks, Wassermelone und auch eine Karaffe Raki auf dem Küchentisch als Überraschung bereit. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt in der Woche, die ich in der Villa verbringen durfte. Der einzige kleine (für mich) negative Punkt war die Matratze :-) da sie sehr hart war und ich Rückenprobleme habe bin ich auf eine der Schlafcouchen "ausgewichen", wo ich dann hervorragend schlafen konnte. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und die Villa und vor Allem die Eigentümerin jederzeit weiterempfehlen, wenn man ein Fleckchen Erde sucht, wo man wirklich seine Ruhe haben, ausspannen und sich wieder "erden" kann.
