Nap in a hammock on the private sandy beach, or enjoy a paddle on one of the SUP boards, canoes or kayaks available for guests use. Cherry Island provides whatever experience you desire. Just a 5 minute boat ride from the landing. The Space: PROPERTY Main floor master & guest room - both with ensuite. Living room with cathedral ceilings and wood burning fireplace bring a touch of class and comfort. Large dining table seats 16\. The wall of windows allows for natural sunlight to stream in, giving fantastic views of the lake from all angles. Covered deck is the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors if by chance it's raining. Upper level boasts an office area, complete with desk and comfy couch, with walk out to fabulous deck overlooking the water. Lower level houses four more bedrooms - three of them with ensuite. We had littles aged 2 and children 5 & 9 plus parents and grandparents and everyone had the most wonderful time. The property s has so much to do including a bonus kitchen garden with herbs and tomatoes and an apple tree! The beach has plenty of water toys including SUP’s, kayaks and canoes. The kitchen is very well equipped and the tv offer is streaming services so there is something for everyone.The host made the check in process seamless. We will be back! ##### Maryrose C. Séjour de 3 nuits en septembre 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Rachel T. 24 sept. 2025 Points forts : Propreté If anyone is looking for an incredible getaway on an island sanctuary then look no further than Cherry Island! It is a spectacular setting to relax and enjoy being with friends; we went and enjoyed the last few days of summer.We took full advantage of what the island has to offer, including kayaking, canoes and paddle boarding and walking around the island. There’s a fabulous fire pit and a vegetable garden that only added to the meals we were able to prepare in the well appointed kitchen. Oh, and there is a pool table and many comfortable places to hang out, and a lounge to watch a movie when it’s raining. The six bedrooms were all incredibly comfortable and appealing. Also enjoyed the many places inside and out where someone could go quietly read or have a conversation or sit down and play some fun games or cards. Can easily sit a dozen at the dining room table. We felt really lucky to have the opportunity to spend time there and look very forward to coming back again. ##### Rachel T. Séjour de 1 nuit en septembre 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Mark T. 1 juill. 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### Family and Birthday Weekend Getaway I rented this house for my wife’s birthday and thought it would also be nice to invite all of my in laws as well as their children to join us. Everyone was comfortable, the layout was fantastic, and the property manager was very communicative and responsive. The kids had a blast playing on the sand and kayaking while the adults were plenty entertained by fishing, paddle boarding, and playing cards (when it rained one evening). Very short ride from the mainland to the island and it was a great time from start to finish. Hope to stay here again in the future if time allows. ##### Mark T. We were 14 people total and were very comfortable. En suite bathrooms, modern furnishings, and lots of living and dining space. There is also great waterfront space: We spent all weekend on the dock or in the water, fishing, swimming, or paddleboarding. The rental company was responsive when contacted via e-mail, and reacted quickly when we had requests. For example, an electrical breaker had tripped before we arrived, resulting in a partial power loss. I e-mailed the company and received a response within five minutes notifying me that a handyman had been dispatched. The problem was resolved 90 minutes later, which was impressive given the property's location. The only negative aspect of our stay was that the Internet did not work. This wasn't a big problem since we were primarily there to enjoy the outdoors but it if Internet access is a "must have" for you, this might be a problem. All in all a great weekend getaway! We would definitely rent this property again. ##### Kevin B.
