This 3 bedroom 2 ½ bathroom open concept cottage is steps away from over 200’ of shoreline located on the Lake Muskoka side of the Port Carling locks. THE RED OAKS A private cottage, less than 25’ from the waters’ edge is nestled amongst mature oaks and evergreens providing guests the feeling of being totally submerged in nature. It’s a bright and airy cottage home boosting fantastic outdoor spaces ideal for entertaining including a boathouse roof top deck, lots of deck and dock space with Muskoka chairs and loungers, plus a screened in porch area off the Primary. The convenient location makes it a family favourite for all ages with Hanna Park (boat launch), local shops, LCBO, restaurants, grocery store, and ice cream parlors an easy walk drive or boat ride away. PROPERTY RED OAKS – Cottage property is lined with 100 year old oak and hemlock trees and has both shallow and deep water. Easy access to shallow water with two stair entries one from small dock and other from main boathouse dock. Waterfront area provides easy access to the lake for swimming, boating, and fishing. INTERIOR KITCHEN Open concept with views of the water, kitchen houses new appliances, large subzero fridge, dishwasher, bar fridge, microwave, oven, and cook top. There is long bar height counter with stools perfect for entertaining. DINING ROOM Open concept dining table with seating for 6 LIVING ROOM Open concept with propane burning fireplace, 3 seater sofa, loveseat, chair, TV, ipod charger/radio and walkout to deck SCREENED IN PORCH Savour lake views and your morning coffee in the large screened in porch off the Primary. It flanks the waters edge yet feels very secluded situated in a blanket of evergreens. Housing comfortable seating for 8 plus small table and chairs it’s a wonderful spot to play a board game or take in a night cap while listening to the sounds of the water lapping on the shore. Screened in area opens to deck with BBQ and stairs down to waterfront. The cottage was spacious, clean, had all of the comforts of home and had a great view. We spent our days swimming and fishing off the two docks and would have lunch on top of the boathouse watching boats pass by. The cottage is located down the street from Hanna Park and is a short drive from Port Carling for groceries, shopping or dinner. Andrea was an incredible host and did everything she could to make us feel at home. I highly recommend Red Oaks! ##### Michael F.
