"We had a terrible experience. We went to check in for our reserved room at Hotel La Noire. at 3:00 pm . After signing in and paying the city tax, the reservation clerk told us our room was not at the property.. She had a key, led us out the front door , across the canal to a different street in a seedy neighborhood to a building with a pizza parlor underneath where she pointed our room would be. "Staff was professional and helpful. The property and room itself wasn’t what I expected. Our room was on the garden level and the floors were very cold (in March). The heat also never made the room quite warm enough. On the plus side, we had a sauna in our room which we tried and warmed us up nicely. The carpet in our room needed replacement."
