"We loved our stay at Swallows Rest Cottage. It's a fantastic place to use as a base for walking and the outside space was amazing to relax in, in the evening. Would very much recommend."

"We stayed one night , good location to Cotswold walk, we didn’t expect self check in, but they did a wonderful job of communicating and it was easy. Rooms new and clean, we unfortunately were there on the hottest days in England, but they did a good job with fan, but we had no Wi-Fi I’m assuming heat had to blame. Overall good stay."

"The cottage and gardens are lovely and in an ideal central location. However, attention to cleaning throughout the property was poor. Bathrooms in particular were dirty, some of the curtains were old and stained, the beds were not comfortable and top floor bedroom in hot weather was very hot! The standard of cleaning would stop us from going back which is a great shame as the owners were delightful and very helpful but their cleaners let them down!"

"We had really good stay at this traditional Cotswolds cottage. Looks like the garden has been upgraded with beautiful patio and few lovely seating areas, which the furniture in the upper area does need upgrading and all the cushions were chucked in very dirty boxes full of cobwebs and spiders , which was a shame. Inside the cottage it looked beautiful the only downside was the fridge and freezer were making a terrible noise and kept beeping, most definitely they need replacing and the same with the tap in the kitchen which was broken and the water was coming from everywhere. Upstairs both bedrooms had really hard mattresses but that might be personal preference. We have stayed with stay cotswolds few times now, and this time we didn't have a welcome hamper which is not an issue but its always nice to arrive with little hamper of goodies on the table. I would definitely stay here again , but if this bits could be improved it would make a big difference."

"What a find this place was. Just 2 mins walk from Broadway's main street this 15 century building now provides luxury accomodation. Period features have been retained like the Great Hall where the staff will happily light the fire while you enjoy your complimentary afternoon tea and cake. Only annoyance was the light sensors in our suite - opening the bedroom door to go to our bathroom meant a bright light shining in my wife's face. Ample parking, croquet and tennis and excellent staff. Location and staff are perfect. Highly recommended"
