(28 reviews) The staff was very courteous and friendly. However, the room we were assigned on the first night was quite a shock. The shower was located in the bedroom with only a single glass wall for separation. There was no sofa and only one chair in the room, as well as just one small bath towel provided. Overall, the room felt more like a closet than a proper hotel room. Given the price we paid, we expected a much more decent accommodation. The following day, I requested a different room, which we received that evening. This room was significantly better and met our expectations. That said, I believe a discount should have been offered for the first night, which unfortunately did not happen. Overall, the hotel is very clean and modern. (392 reviews) A lovely hotel but despite booking 5 months early the twin room we requested was unavailable. Also, the hotel was fully booked so we were sent to another of their properties across the road. It was serviced by very steep stairs - no lift and we were two flights up. We would not have been able to get our luggage up the steep narrow stairs if the reception guy hadn’t helped. Checking out was really difficult navigating our luggage down the stairs. We had breakfast included but only went the first day because we felt we could do better somewhere else and we saw the waiter using his hands to refill the hash browns and then eat directly from breakfast buffet (berries). I don't think we saw the best of the hotel.
