Just two thingxx as though which need improvement: - Wi-Fi was patchy at best. - Having gone to bed about 11, I couldn’t get to sleep because the bar music was blaring out into the courtyard below my room window and ended up phoning the hotel at11.30 to ask them to turn it off - though to be fair they did do that."

"The room was not as I expected it. It was on the second floor of what looked to be an out building. There were a few things we were not happy with eg the kettle had to be plugged in on the flour by the bed ( lead too short) but the worst was the shower. It ran cold. We told the reception and they just said they knew and had passed it on to maintenance before but had done nothing about it. Not even an apology. We had not ordered breakfast at the time of booking thinking we could add it later as it was only £15 extra but when we arrived it was double that to add it. So we waited until breakfast to decide. In the morning at breakfast when we saw what was on offer it was so bad we left again without bothering. Instead we paid the same price in the swan hotel as a walk in- which was a magnificent breakfast. "

"Beautiful. Perfectly placed in the centre of wells. Staff are helpful and friendly. Our room (no 2) had a beautiful four poster, a lovely shower (but not really suitable for a larger person) as the door only opened a very small way. The pin opposite did play loud music on the Fri and sat night until gone midnight but it didn’t bother us too much "

"This is the 2nd time me and my partner have stayed here, this time we did 4 nights in the West Front pod, once again it was lovely, so peaceful, no noise, the location of the pod is lovely, with a lovely view of Wells Cathedral, the accommodation was spotless, everything you need for a quiet break away from all the hassles in life, the log burning hot tub was lovely, an endless supply of logs to use and the hosts are always available if you need anything. We cannot fault this location and are returning for our 3rd visit in June 2026\. Thanks"
