Stunning Villa - Open Plan & Heated 8m Pool

Casa Gemela is a stunning Villa that has been completely remodelled and recently re-furnished to an extremely high standard. This 3 bedroom Villa, with room to sleep up to 7 people and an 8m heated outdoor pool, is situated on the upmarket Mar Menor Golf Resort in the Murcia Region of Spain. Casa Gemela is located alongside the 5th Hole of the Jack Nicklaus Designed, Mar Menor Golf Course and only a five minute walk from all the facilities of the Five Star Caliea Hotel.

On entering the Villa, to the left there is a lounge and TV area, with a brand new L-shaped corner sofa and coffee table. There is a 65 inch Samsung Smart TV & Sonos surround sound system , which provides access for Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and a full range of terrestrial channels. WiFi is available throughout the villa and the pool area. The recently renovated Kitchen which looks out onto the pool, has changed beyond all recognition and is fully fitted out with Bosch appliances & these include: oven, integrated microwave, induction hob, cooker hood, dishwasher and washing machine. We have also now installed a water filter on the cold tap so there is No need to buy any single use plastic water bottles. There is a large dinning area, with a large wicker dinning table and seating for up to 8 people. This is fully enclosed with glass curtains and indoor heating, giving complete flexibility during the winter months but also having the benefit of being able to open out completely during the Summer. All the main living areas benefit from both air conditioning for the Summer and central heating for the Winter months.

Outside there is a private large patio area, with a 8m salt water, heated pool. There is also a dinning area, with a table, 6 chairs. There is also a fully working gas BBQ, which is ideal for eating al fresco. Finally, there are 6 sun loungers ideal for basking in the sun with a cocktail.

The Master Double Bedroom is fully equipped with fitted wardrobes and a brand new modern fully fitted en-suite with a large modern double shower. The Bedroom leads out to a large terrace area, through double patio doors, which has a L-shaped corner sofa. cantilever umbrella and table with great views out onto the pool, golf course & wonderful evening sunsets. There is a hair dryer, hair straighteners and hair curler in the top draw of the integrated wardrobe.

There are a further 2 twin bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes.
(An additional single bed is available if required)

The main bathroom used for both twin rooms is at the end of the corridor. This is also brand new and has a double size modern shower.

All bed linen, towels and pool/beach towels are provided.

To the front of the villa there is a small patio area and an undercover car port.

Key Holder

Fay is our local Key Holder and is always available should you have any issues whilst staying in Casa Gemela. Fay will meet you on arrival to handover the keys and give you a tour of the Villa.

Amenities on Your Doorstep

On Mar Menor Golf Resort there is 24 hour Security, so you always feel safe. There are also some key facilities, including: Golf Driving Range, Golf Putting Green, Golf Shop, Gym, Club House, Communal Swimming Pool, 5 Star Spa, Hair & Beauty Salon, Children's Play Areas, WIFI zones and many communal landscaped gardens.

There are a number of restaurants including: Terra by Nomad Spanish Speciality Restaurant, Fontana Di Pietra Italian Restaurant which also offers a take away service, The Clubhouse at Mar Menor, providing all day snacks and during the Summer months converts to a Mexican Restaurant from 7pm onwards, Mizu Sushi Bar, El Olivio Steakhouse BBQ Restaurant. In Summer they also have a full entertainment program, The Clover Irish Golf Tavern, Hotel Poolside Bar with live music during July and August. If the Hotel Pool is quiet then you may be able to pay a Daily Rate, to use as a Guest. Kids Mini Disco during July, August and other school holidays. Kids Club, available daily in July and August through separate arrangement via the Hotel. Town Centre Community Pool by El Olivio Restaurant This is open between June & September & is open to everyone providing you purchase a drink from the Restaurant. They also provide Breakfasts, Lunch & Dinner, Ice Creams etc.

Full Size Spar Supermarket, open seven days a week, opening times: Monday – Saturdays including holidays from 09.00 – 21.00. Sundays from 09.00 to 15.00.

There are also a range of Supermarkets in both Los Alcazeres & Torre Pacheco (approximately 10 minutes by car) including Consum, Lidl, Mercadona & Dial a Prix

Club MMGR
Fully operated Sports Club & Gym with an onsite Cafe Bar Restaurant.
Individual Sports can be purchased on the day or Weekly Membership is available.

Situated just outside the entrance to The Mar Menor Hotel & Golf Resort is El Boulevard. Here you will find an ATM Machine at the Sabadell Bank & there is also a large selection of Restaurants and Bars, which include:


The Shamrock Lounge , this is an international Restaurant and Bar. A great place for breakfast and watching all the big Sporting Events on the screen. The Restaurant is famous for its Curries but also offers a large range of other dishes. Also provides Takeaways.

No 6 Genoa - Excellent Bistro style Restaurant

La Perla Negra (The Black Pearl) - Authentic Spanish Bar, with occasional Live Music.
Tasty Bites - An authentic Indian Restaurant, which also provides Takeaways.
Route 66 - An American Style Diner, which also covers a lot of the Football Matches on various screens.



Rental Rules/Contract

1. Smoking is not allowed at the Villa.

2. Pets are not allowed.

3. No Glasses should be used in the outside patio/pool area. Plastic glasses can be found in a separate cupboard in the kitchen. In the event of outdoor glass breakage Faye our Key Holder should be contacted immediately, this could possibly lead to a penalty due to pool draining, cleaning, etc. Faye's Details will be in your Welcome Pack.

4. The Resort quiet hours are from 11pm - 8am, can you please be mindful of the neighbours outside of these specific times.

5. Rubbish - please use the bin/recycling which is to the lefthand side of the Villa opposite Casa Gemela.

6. Swimming Pool - children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the swimming pool without adults supervision. All use of the pool must be at your own risk. The pool is cleaned weekly to maintain the high standard.
If you require the pool to be heated there is an additional charge of £100 per week. If the pool is heated please ensure the pool cover is replaced over the pool at all times when not in use.

7. Bookings/Cancelations - An initial deposit is required at the time of booking and this is deemed to be acceptance of all the rental contract. Deposits are non refundable unless the villa is rented out to there guests.
The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

8. Security Deposit - A security deposit of £200 is added to each booking, this will be refunded within 48 hours once the Villa has been fully cleaned and checked.

9. Welcome Guide - A fully comprehensive Welcome Guide will be emailed to you once the initial booking has been made. This will enable you to plan your holiday in advance.

10. Air Conditioning - Please ensure that all air conditioning and fans are turned off when not in use. These facilities are very expensive to run and failure to adhere could lead to an extra charge on departure. In Winter the same applies to all the central heating/plug in radiators.

11. Furniture/Amenities - Please remember that this our family owned Villa by taking care of all the furniture/amenities.

Fabulous family break
Fantastic property with everything we needed. Can’t name it all but: plenty of bathroom towels, good hairdryer, iron, Alexa, shutters on windows (lovely for dark room at night/to keep sun out), plenty of good quality pool towels, clothes airer, pool toys, games, bikes, every kitchen accessory needed, lots of store cupboard items. Loved the sun room with the glass curtains opening fully. Pool was lovely, pool area had the sun all day as it moved, meaning one part of the garden was always in the sun and part in the shade which was ideal. Plenty of loungers & chairs. We opted for pool heating which was a perfect temperature. Fab location, 8-15 minute walk to all amenities (shop, clubhouse, hotel, variety of restaurants). Restaurants great for families as most serve a variety of cuisines. I could have Mexican whilst husband had Italian & kids had a burger in the same place. Shop well stocked & prices quite reasonable. Host was great at staying in touch and making sure we knew everything we needed. Check in worked seamlessly, Kay who manages the property was lovely. Club house area was ideal for us, loved crazy golf & skittles, food good quality, dinks very reasonably priced. Quite popular but great service & always managed to get a table. Our son played hours of football with other kids who just met up and play together. Small play parks looked good although ours are a bit old at 11, great for little ones though. Amazing family holiday - Thank you.

Beautiful modern house equipped with everything you need. The owners have taken great care to ensure you want for nothing. Great family holiday for all ages, grandparents, teens and younger with plenty of activities in the house and on the resort.

Wonderful Villa
Totally easy stay from start to finish. The villa is well maintained with all mod-cons you could wish for really. The modern Kitchen has a lovely open plan set up which most villas on Mar Menor don't have. Bathrooms are very modern and the showers work well. Beds come with the added benefit of a duvet instead of sheets which I don't personally like, so again that was helpful. The dining room with it's glass curtains added an extra sitting room & reading room for us all in fact we didn't even use the Living room, this room was perfect. We had the Pool Heated and to be honest it was a great option. It was hot for October maybe early 30's and trust me pools are not comfortable unless you heat them at that time of year otherwise your looking at pool temperatures of 23-26 degrees which is cold to me and not enjoyable. The pool was lovely and hot. Overall a great stay and would easily book again. Andrew is an excellent host with great communication, five stars from both couples stayed. Thank you!

Just returned from a week at Casa Gemela with family including grandchildren. We have stayed at lots of villas on Mar Menor Golf Resort and this is one of the best! Great pool and garden and the refitted kitchen is fab. Andrew the owner was in touch with us before and during our stay to make sure everything was ok. Fay the key holder was brilliant when a travel was needed and was dropped off to us asap. Will definitely be booking again!

This villa was wonderful for our family holiday. It was spacious and very well equipped. The kitchen is fantastic. The pool was the highlight of our stay. The children both learnt to swim and spent hours in it. Will definitely be booking again.

We booked again straight away!
Casa Gemela is a wonderful, spacious home-from-home villa in a great location on this lovely gated golf resort. Ideal for families it has three bedrooms, one with ensuite and a separate bathroom. There is a heated salt water pool ( so much nicer than chlorine), a huge well-equipped modern kitchen with Bosch appliances, and living room sofas with space for everyone to watch the large wide-screen TV (with Amazon Prime etc built in). There are loads of nice little touches to make a family stay easy, such as games in the sunroom, cables for the Bose sound system and lots of other useful items. With a large Spar supermarket on the resort (great for baguettes and pain au chocolat for breakfast) and lots of dining options at the villa, eating in is easy. The upstairs terrace is perfect for evening drinks while the poolside table and BBQ and the sunroom with large dining table and glass shutters make inside/outside options easy. If you don't fancy cooking there are restaurants in and just outside the resort and more in nearby towns including Los Alcazares and Santiago De La Ribera. The owners Andrew and Kay are very attentive, quick to respond to questions and go the extra mile to make it feel like you're a guest of the family. We have stayed in villas on this resort many times. We loved Casa Gemela so much we immediately booked again for next year!

Lovely family holiday
We stayed at Casa Gemela for 10 days in July. The property was ideal for us and as described on the website. The pool was great, kids were in it for hours. The location is great if you want to explore the area with lots of places to visit within a 20-30 minute drive. The hotel and hotel restaurants were a short walk (5 mins) and were nice for an evening drink and bite to eat. The Boulevard with more bars and restaurants was about a 15 minute walk and had a good selection of places to eat and drink at. Some had pool tables for the kids to play on. We would come back again to the villa and the area. Andrew was a good host and quick to respond to any questions we had and he provided lots of information on the property and the local area which was really useful.
