  • Winter cancellation policy is 0 - days if trails are not being groomed.

    We have a 2 - bedroom and 1 - bath cedar log cabin vacation rental situated on 8 - acres adjacent to national forest. We have A/C, WI-FI, grill, and campfire. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. The upstairs has 2 - full beds. Property has outside cameras for security.

    Kitchen utensils, cookware, linens, and bathroom essentials are all provided. You will have to bring your own toiletries such as toilet paper, shampoo, and other items. We do stock toilet paper, but not for extended stays. There is a coffee maker that also has pod capability. We have a fire pit, gas, and charcoal grills outside.

    We are 2-miles south of Lakeshore Trail, Miner's Castle, Pictured Rocks, and Miner's Beach. Pictured Rocks Golf Course is 2 - miles west and the town of Munising is 5 - miles south-west. Snowmobile and ATV trail is 1/2 - mile east.

    This is our 2nd vacation rental that just started May 2023. We have received many compliments on how comfortable, isolated, quiet, and yet close to all Munising has to offer.

    We have offered our vacation home on adjacent property east for over 16 - years and are excited to provide this log cabin.

The cabin was perfect for privacy but still an ideal location for area sights. It was very clean and still appears to be a new/updated residence. We enjoyed the fire pit on cool evenings and appreciated the AC inside after long days of hiking in the heat. The host was so sweet to leave us cookies as well! This was a wonderful stay.

Munising Log Cabin

We spent 4 nights in Munising, Michigan for a family Pictured Rock viewing and hiking.This cabin was central to all Pictured Rock activities and cruises. Very cute, clean cabin.

Great quiet cabin close to town and the beach/waterfalls. Perfect for kids to have room to roam after a long day and a play-set to keep them busy.

This cabin was fantastic!! Perfect for two of us and very secluded. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It had wonderful access to everything in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The owner was lovely to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.

A great woodsy escape. We stayed here with a 3 and 4 year old. The place was comfortable, very clean and well-equipped. We came in late May, and there were hardly any bugs out which was a nice surprise. The kids loved the play set and roasting s'mores. The stairs to the loft were steep which wasn’t ideal for our youngest. However, we didn’t have any incidents. We highly recommend pictured rocks pizza, By George Brewing, sand point beach, pictured rocks boat cruise, miners falls, sable falls, and log slide dunes.

Great family experience!

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids [3, 7 years old]) visited the Munising area to see Pictured Rocks. This cabin was perfect for our family! Nice outdoor space with a firepit and playset, close to Pictured Rocks sites, and easy access to Munising. A great family-friendly place to stay.

Came up to do some hiking and visiting the ice caves.

Property was very well maintained and supplied with everything we could possibly need. If you enjoy the beauty and quiet of the out of doors, this is the perfect place.

Had a great stay at the waterfall cabin

This cabin was perfect for us. Close enough to town but far enough away it felt secluded. Very peaceful and quiet at night. Close to halfway between everything we wanted to do.

Wonderful Spit!

Our family of 4 really loved staying at this cabin. It was in a perfect location that was near main attractions, yet isolated in the woods. It was one of the cleanest cabins we've stayed in. It had a well stocked kitchen, too. We loved it here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Great little cabin in the woods! Nice, well stocked kitchen, lots of wildlife (saw a bear!), and super nice owners! Very close to pictured rocks!

Beautiful cabin! Everything we needed was readily available. Very clean and comfortable. Loved that it was close to many attractions but yet secluded. Enjoyed being able to have evening fires. Easy in and out! Pefect cabin for our family of 4! Highly recommend!
