"We had a good experience in the little blue house! Everything was clean and Amal was fantastic to deal with. Although we didn't indulge on the fresh eggs, they provided fresh eggs from their chicken for us, which was the cutest touch. The only thing that is not clear on the listing that had us confused is that the little blue house is located behind the main blue house. A great stay over all!"

"A wonderful retreat nestled in forested neighbourhood with walking trails. Had to drive to amenities, but not far to Sidney or airport. Hosts were super, suite was well stocked with everything you needed. Special treat were the presence of two wonderful Golden Retrievers, two miniature ponies, and Topaz, the friendly horse. Had a great time (2 nights) and would absolutely stay again."

"The sea view was our main attraction to this property and we were not disappointed. The Salish Sea is a few metres from the house and there are several beach access points within a 10 minute drive of the home. Dennis and Joan have a lovely propety and abeautiful garden. The suite is well stocked with kitchen utensils and a hot plate. There is also a bbq for guest use. The suite is quite comfortable, clean and bright. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "We stayed at this property to start off our Vancouver Island trip. It was convenient for us to be about 20 minutes outside the hustle and bustle of Victoria, and 20 minutes closer to Port Renfrew which we visited for the exeptional tidal pools at Botanical Beach. It had a well equipped kitchen, was very clean, and comfortable. It was in a quiet neighborhood a close drive to grocery shopping and hiking down at the beach parks. "Property has a great view and location. Host was very friendly and accommodating. However the property advertised a hot tub which was one of the reasons we booked but the hot tub was the jacuzzi tub in the master suite. The pots and pans were not in great shape, we didn’t even use them. Lastly, on the surface the place was clean but if you looked closer, it could do with a deep clean."
