As far as location, it is perfectly located if you were going to Oktoberfest. It is no more than a five minute walk. Also liked this location because the hotel was tucked away off the street and therefore you didn’t have a lot of noise of people passing by. As far as the room goes. It was clean, but I was disappointed that there were absolutely no towels available or shampoo or tissues. It slept four people, but you are all in one room, so if you don’t like one another, I would not get this room lol. It was a queen size bed, and then two single beds. When we did need something, all we had to do was call the owner and for the most part He would bring us what we needed fairly quickly. Das Appartement war OK. Die Betten waren in Ordnung, auch wenn die Bettwäsche bei den Kindern dreckig war. Die Badezimmer Rochen sehr unangenehm, was auch für die 5 Handtücher gilt, die dort zur Verfügung gestellt wurden. Die Tür zum Bad quietscht elendich laut, genauso wie die fünfte Schlafmöglichkeit im Wohnzimmer. Hygieneregeln werden dort nicht eingehalten. Gerade beim Türöffner zu merken. Keine Desinfektion. Gleich beim Reinkommen sass eine Schwabe auf dem Küchentisch. Daraufhin haben wir beschlossen, das Appartement nur als Schlafmöglichkeit zu sehen und sind jeden Tag essen gegangen, sowohl zum Frühstück, als auch zum Abendbrot. Eine schöne grosse Terrasse ist dabei, allerdings waren die Tische und Stühle auch nicht sauber. Die Waschmaschine würde ich nicht nutzen. Sah nicht hygienisch aus. Die stadtnähe macht vieles wieder gut. Mit etwas mehr Sauberkeit, wäre es ein top Appartement. The location was very central so was perfect for seeing the sights and getting to and from the main train station. We primarily chose this property for its proximity to the central train station. Although the owners do have a sign close to the street, it is easy enough to miss (especially at night), making finding the entry to the apartment building via the back parking lot, somewhat difficult. The room was clean and comfortable. The television and wifi worked well, although the wifi network information in the room did not provide access to the internet. After a call to Hotels.com customer service, they were able to get in touch with the building manager who provided another network for us to join. The apartment is well located. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the train station, and a 25-30 minute walk to Marienplatz. Yet, it is far enough away from the train station that you do not have to contend with some of the seedier aspects in the immediate vicinity of the bahnhof. Apartment 201: Very small and cramped (living room is the hallway, kitchen is in a cupboard, small beds, washing maschine next to toilet - don’t drop your washing!). Looks clean enough but floor hadn’t been mopped, dirt under sofa, dirty shower curtain. Bathroom very smelly. Air-con didn’t work properly and dripped, looked like a DIY job with extension cord and hole in the wall. No housekeeping. Not sure about security as front door open all day (and night?) and room keys in doors for days. The apartment had a big balcony: the extra space was welcome but our 1 yr old could fit through the rails!
