We did have ‘mountain rest’ and it was wonderful!! Everything we needed was there and also board games, books, 2 screened in porches and most importantly, a peaceful dock with chairs and kayaks and canoes. We enjoyed hanging on the dock and both screened porch areas. We also loved the surrounding hiking trails which are easily accessible right from the cottage. The cottage is so cute! The furnishings are comfortable, beautiful and creative. It has everything we needed as far as kitchen appliances, cookware, good wifi, kayaks, etc. Also there's a great little coffee/tea bar with grinder/coffeemaker/teas, etc. The place was immaculately clean. The place is comfy and cozy. The furnishings are amazing. Everything is provided. The lake is quiet and clean. The house was just as described. Actually it was better than described. Being there and sitting on the porch overlooking the lake was so relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed cooking meals with a view. The location was perfect for chasing waterfalls and we saw 7 this trip. I especially enjoyed the peaceful spin around the lake in the provided kayak. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for outdoor adventures in the area with a comfortable, cozy place to return that makes you feel right at home. ##### Tim Y.
