« We had a wonderful stay at Little Bear with our children. It is ideally located to enjoy several different activities throughout your stay. The cabin is an easy hour drive to Damascus, VA to ride the Creeper Trail. We also took out two polaris on Doe Mountain, the highlight of our kids' trip! « The cabin is indescribable. We rented the cabin for a family reunion, and upon arrival found the cabin to be extremely clean, well kept, and well maintained. Our family was able to experience the peace and tranquility of the mountains, as Psalm 46:10 states, "Be still and know that I am God." « The property was lovely in its rustic style. Little issues than can just happen through usage. It’s very roomy. I had everything I needed. Good WiFi. Good streaming ability on the television. I would definitely use it again. The AC worked well. Nice appliances. The only thing I would change is taking a nightlight for the middle of the night bathroom visits. »

« It is in an easy location to find. While it is on a state hwy, it is out of the way of heavy traffic. It provided all we needed for our stay. The only 'not so nice' thing was that the counter-top for the sink had a crack in it that ran the entire width of the top. It was located such that when the faucet was on, water could go into the crack and then to the floor. »
