Having never been to the area, a friend gave me the advice to stay in Mount Pleasant. It was a short uber ride away from both downtown Charleston for shopping, good food, and bars, and to Sullivans Island. The property was in great shape, the beds were comfortable, and it was very spacious and easily accommodated our large group. It’s a cute neighborhood with some walkable grocery stores. The only concerns we had were the beds were hard and not comfortable, the pillows were flat, no fans on the ceiling of 2 of 3 bedrooms making it warm at night, the sink faucet in the main bedroom had very little water pressure, the blinds on the windows were broken in several places and there were no curtains allowing the sun to wake you up bright and early. The location is perfect -- close to everything at Shem Creek, Charleston, Isle of Palms & Sullivan's Island. The townhome is well stocked, clean and tidy. Yard was perfect for our 2 small shih tzu's. This property was very clean and in a prime location in Mt Pleasant, close to restaurants, shopping, and minutes from the Isle of Palms (IOP) Connector to go the beach.
