Summary:  
One of 4 custom built vacation rentals on the Sandy River, come enjoy everything the northwest has to offer! Don’t see the dates you want?, there’s 3 more identical houses to book! Relax in the hot tub as you listen to the sound of the river. Feast on marshmallows roasted over a fire in the woods. Explore over a half mile of trails along the bank of the Sandy River. Tons of recreation awaits; biking, climbing, hiking, fishing, and of course fantastic ski resorts.

The Space:  
Message me to match with a house that has the dates you need available, or search for Sandy River Group Getaway. Created as the ultimate vacation rental, this house features a stunning kitchen, a massive master bedroom with soaking tub, two upstairs suites with full baths, one bedroom downstairs, and a bunk room with 8 twin beds. All the woodwork and much of the furniture was hand built from wood harvested from the property. The 700 sq ft covered deck features a hot tub, BBQ, outdoor dining table, and tons of seating.  
  
This 6 acre property has an outdoor fire pit area, picnic tables, hand built log bridges across the seasonal creek, two beach areas (depending on water levels) and access to a community trail that follows the Sandy River. There is even a large cleared outdoor area that would be perfect for weddings or other events. For big groups that still want their own space, consider renting all 4 houses, for a shared, yet separate event.

Guest Access:  
Guests have access to the entire house. Outdoor area is shared between 4 houses, but there is plenty of space for everyone. There are 4 separate outdoor fire pits, available on a first come first serve basis. Dedicated parking for 4 vehicles, with shared overflow space.  
  
The Neighborhood:  
Nestled by the Sandy River on Brightwood Loop Rd, you feel miles away from civilization, but in reality are less than 5 minutes away from HWY 26 near Zig Zag. At mere 20 minutes from Timberline Lodge, you can beat the traffic up the mountain to ski without having to get up too early.  
  
Other Things to Note:  
Tankless water heater supplies endless hot water to ensures that everyone can get clean and warm after a day on the mountain. Run 2-3 showers at same time.  
  
EV Chargers have Tesla (NACS) Style plugs, if you need an adapter, please bring it with you. Chargers are rated for 8KW and charge a Tesla from 0% in about 9 hours.  
  
It snows here occasionally. Winter on the mountain is unpredictable, chains / shovel for your vehicle are recommended.  
  
Good internet, reasonable cell service. Some GPS / apps will try to send you to the middle of the Sandy River, cross check with the location map!  
  
The Sandy River is COLD, as we are near the glaciers that feed it. It is also fast moving and swimming or wading is recommended to only be done at low flow in the summer.  
  
Please check with local authorities for burn bans and fishing information. Clackamas County regulations allow for 15 guests maximum, if you have a larger group, consider booking 2 adjacent houses on this property.

#### Mt Hood

I stayed with family for a ski trip for 1 week. The house was very clean with a kitchen that was well equipped.We cooked several dinners while we were there. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit in the back. There is plenty of wood to burn.My only complaint is there are 4 exact same houses in a row. One group on the last night was drunk and yelling obscenities in the hot tub. I was glad I did not have small children and the drunk party went inside.

#### Highly recommend. Great location and accommodations

A party of 5 enjoyed our annual Boys Ski adventure - with 4 days of fantastic skiing Mt Hood - the Meadows. Host Michael helped with 1-2 special requests, giving local directions and a truly wonderful venue. Spacious, all ensuite bed/bathrooms, kitchen/great rooms, hot tub, location, etc. All-in-all a great stay and somewhere we'd love to return. Absolutely beautiful. Wonderful stay. thank you!

#### The best house for a large group!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Sandy River Group #3 house. Let me tell you, this house is stunning! The accommodations were clean, well taken care of and very roomy! Everything was clean and we felt right at home. We had enough room for everyone to sleep and each room had a bathroom which is always a plus! The only thing I would change is more seating in the living room and bonus room area, other than that we made do with the chairs around the house. We will be back!
