"The neighborhood in the west side of the hotel is rough, and my heart sank as I rolled up as it fits the same rough trend. I was pleasantly surprised by my room though. No smells, clean and a comfortable bed. The man working at the reception is a great guy, he provided some helpful advice and an engaging conversation. "The view alone would be reason enough to stay at this wonderful property, but we also adored the beautiful house, charming village, excellent hiking within a reasonable drive (rivière du chene, rivière gentilly, and the national Parc mauricie), and of course the hot tub. Excellent, we’ll be back!"
