Up-dated in the fall 2024\. This beautiful, very private and modern vacation home offers luxury and comfort, while still embracing the laid back lifestyle of Exuma. Enjoy the amenities of this modern beach house while gazing at views of turquoise waters from the living room/kitchen area which can be turned into huge open air private suite by opening the glass sliding doors. Located on the 2 miles stretch of the most pristine, beautiful and private beach in Exuma, just 5 minutes from Exuma Int Airport. Ideal for a large family or two families to stay together but with privacy and flexibility, which includes separate entrances, kitchens, family rooms and balconies of each Villa's Wing overlooking the turquoise waters as well as direct access to the pool. Wind protected and locked private courtyard provides a tropical garden with Palm Trees, refreshing pool, a dining table with 8 chairs, hammock, lounge. Enjoy lunch or dinner at BBQ station, featuring open gas grill and a refrigerator. Perfect place to have fun during the day and certainly on the evening to have a dinner, drinks or play some games. Take a quick rinse after a refreshing swim to wash off the beach sand in one of 2 outdoor showers, located by each Wing entrance. East wing first floor contains 2 bedrooms with 2 en-suite bathrooms and a private family room, convertible to a full bedroom. West wing first floor contains 2 bedrooms with 2 en-suite bathrooms and a family room convertible to an extra 3rd bedroom. Master suite and Guest suites in both West and East Wings have a king size beds. Family rooms have a queen size fold out comfort sleeper sofa. Each room has direct access to the pool and courtyard. High quality inflatable beds are also available for our guests. Second floor of each wing consist of a fully equipped modern kitchen, half bath and an expansive living and entertainment room with an 300 sq. ft. covered outdoor balcony overlooking the ocean. The home is cooled by central air-conditioning and ceiling fans for your comfort. You will find all the modern technology you need to stay connected, including wireless internet and Smart Tv's. The beach volleyball court is open exclusively for our guests! 2 miles long pristine beach is just 50 steps out of the courtryard's gate and has super white powder sand and very comfortable sea entrance which allows to be safe with kids and launch our kayaks, stand-up boards. Snorkeling gear, life jackets, beach towels and beach chairs are all included. What is provided in the Villa: \- full set of hotel amenities (liquid soap, shampoo, hand and bath towels); \- fully equipped kitchens; \- laundry room with washer & dryer sets \- paper towels, dishwasher detergent, washer detergent; \- limited quantity of drinkable water as well as water for icemaker in pool villas (can be ordered or purchased additionally); \- gas for BBQ grill; \- bathrobes; \- personal safe box; \- beach towels; \- beach chairs and umbrellas; \- use of kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel equipment, water toys; \- use of sandy playground with beach volleyball court and children playground; \- table games, etc; \- Internet (Wi-Fi) \- a plenty of sun, white sand, turquoise water and friendly local people! We rented Casa Del Mar based on location, reviews and amenities offered... and it was wonderful! It is a very nice modern design home situated in a "resort feeling" setting of beautiful landscaping. The villa is stunning, attention to detail 1st class, with everything at the property you could wish for. Beach towels, beach chairs, coolers to take to the beach. The interior is stunning, with everything you need and more and the privacy of the pool with sun lounges and the court is superb. Highly recommended! ##### Lucy H. The home has everything you can possibly need for an amazing vacation and we can appreciate all the latest amendments and an array of the updates the Owners did to the Villa. If privacy is something that you want, look no further, this is your place. This property really is everything that you expect and much more! Everyone on the team is nice and helpful (Gabby and Angelique) and Dmitri is always available for a call to answer any possible question that you might have. We had an infant and it was very nice to have a high chair and pack and play provided for us. Management was quick to respond and helpful with all of our questions. Location is close to the airport and nice.Overall the property is beautiful- we did have the dishwasher not work in one of the houses as well as the garbage disposal & the dryer was broken in the other house. We alerted the manager but they had a hard time getting maintenance to come out & these things were not resolved while we were there. We made due but the garbage disposal did have quite a smell. The pool also has some issues that made us nervous with the kids tripping and hurting theirselves- the coping on one side is sinking in.Overall the houses were very nice and the location was great. This year I had selected Casa Del Mar in Exuma for our yearly family reunion. We stayed for a week with 2 families of 4 and absolutely loved everything about the property. Having a completely separate space for each family was perfect and the house was stocked with everything we needed. The beach is a short walk away and we basically had the beach to ourselves every day. Driving all over the island is easy and it was always great to come back to Casa Del Mar after a day of exploration. Gabby and Darron were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It was a short walk to the beach and was equipped with plenty of beach chairs and towels. The electricity cut off one night for about 40 minutes and the owner said that was fairly common on the island. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience the entire stay. ##### Julie H. What an amazing property! Dmitri was great through the planning process, offering help and recommendations for everything we needed for our trip. The property is spectacular. The home is fully equipped with everything you need to cook or enjoy the pool and courtyard. The rooms inside the house were large and beautifully decorated. The location and beach are spectacular.The ocean was the perfect temperature and the waves subtle enough so that you didn't have to worry about getting knocked over. The beach was basically all ours with only a couple other people in sight. Amazing experience overall! ##### Lucy H. It sits close to the beach (2 houses back) so catches a nice breeze and the pool is great. The kitchen is modern, well stocked and we cooked most nights since restaurants are not super close by and service is generally slow. Our biggest complaint (and it seems to be a recurring theme among these reviews) is that the property manager is not easy to get in touch with and doesn’t have much follow through. We inquired about the possibility of an early check in but received no reply so arrived on time and she was still cleaning. One unit was very clean and the other seemed unfinished. The propane tanks for the gas grill were both empty upon arrival and we didn’t get replacements for 24+ hours and had to request multiple times. The sheets for the pull out sofas did not fit (twin size for a double bed in one unit and king on double in another) and the air conditioners on the 2nd floor of both units did not work well at all. Wi-Fi was spotty and we did not receive any of the major network channels on the tv. There are no written instructions from the owner/manager regarding expectations upon check out and no directions as to how to operate things. We love the Bahamas & have traveled to the Caribbean many times so understand that life there moves at a slower pace but feel the property could be greatly improved if the property manager seemed a more prepared/responsive. ##### Anne K. We had more than enough room; the property could easily accommodate more. We stayed 5 nights. We enjoyed the pool and grilling out at the house. The beds were comfy (except the pull out couch, but those never are), and the separate AC units for each room were nice! We were just steps from the beach! We spent a lot of time on the beach, watching the sunrise, swimming, relaxing, and using the SUP/kayak that were provided. Gabby was super nice and accommodated our request for an early check in and late check out. We had the best time and highly recommend Casa Del Mar! ##### Brooke R. We had 13 total people with three small children under the ages of five. Dimitri and Gabby were very accommodating to our needs and quick to reply with all of our questions. We had a week with two families with young kids at this property. We had the best visit! The two homes were perfect for us to have our own space but have joint meals together. The kids lived in the pool and the ocean was just steps away. The property was fully stocked and the managers incredibly responsive. Exuma is gorgeous and we visit every year.
