"Went to the ice machine twice for ice and next to no ice in it . The restaurant on the grounds was closed ( don’t know why ) so went into town only to find a Mexican place that only took CASH and for 4 people for almost fast food type food was $85 . There was a steak house that was close to $40 a plate that was a NO . The rooms were very nice and clean . Staff polite and pool and grounds very kept up . Overall everything was great , downfall hardly no place or variety of places to eat at the hotel or in town."

"Awesome place to enjoy nature and check out the area of Julian. Loved the amenities including the porch bed swing and multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy. Kitchen has tons of appliances and utensils for cooking and baking. Only issues we encountered was the jet tub off the main bedroom was out of service, the downstairs room off the kitchen was sweltering hot, and turning on the AC for the main area wasn't straight forward, as the remote downstairs said it was on, but we had to manually turn it on by going upstairs and investigating. Still highly recommend visiting though!"
