« The creek is amazing. Deep enough to wade into. Location is convenient to Banner Elk (you have to try the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster!!) and Boone (have to try Coyote Kitchen and Stick Boy!) While you're at it head up Beech Mountain in the summer and ride the chair lift to the top (there's a bar up there) and watch the mountain bikers ride down the mountain. House was convenient to all of this! Can't wait to return. Oh yeah, the homemade sour dough bread and jam are a welcome surprise. »

« Had a great time staying here the space is just big enough to be comfortable while the outside is a very enjoyable area to hang out and relax. It's also conveniently located to Boone and there lots of things to do within a short drive »

« This cottage was wonderful! Very new. Very clean. Everything you would need and more. Beautifully decorated and many games and books are available. When we come back to the Lake James area we will stay At woodsy cottage again. We rented a pontoon boat and spent a day on the beautiful lake. Maryann Kulesza »
