Laid out over three floors, this property boasts charming character features such as original timbers, flagstone flooring, exposed stone and a wood burner. The traditional stable door leads out into the gravelled courtyard garden, a delightful outside space with seating, a parasol and a charcoal BBQ. Accommodation This two bedroom period holiday cottage in Moreton-in-Marsh is an ideal base for couples or friends looking to discover the North Cotswolds and attractions beyond. With a mainline train station in walking distance, further afield destinations are easily accessible to visitors. Older or younger guests may struggle with the steep stairs, though extra care should be taken by all guests. The only thing I would say is there are really steep stairs so I would be careful with anyone who has issues with stairs. But this is a great spot! It would have been nice to have a French press as there is only a pod type coffee maker. Other reviews have addressed the staircase and they are correct. It’s very steep and needs the handrails. It’s very close to the major grocery store and train. Would recommend cottage for it’s convenience to all of the Cotswolds. ##### Debi P. Even though it is located on the main road in town, you feel like you are off the beaten path once you are inside the unit. Spacious kitchen, beautiful back terrace all the comfort of home. The narrow twist staircases are definitely something to consider if you have mobility issues. I am pretty agile with good balance, and I had to take my time going up and down the stairs, but certainly Not a deterrent from renting again. I only mention so that people realize the stairs can be tricky. Moreton in Marsh is a charming town and a great launching pad to explore other neighboring towns. We took a lovely 7 mile walk that connected us to two other towns and didn’t even have to use the bus. ##### Cyndi F.
