It’s even more beautiful than the pictures show and felt like home from the moment we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped with basic spices, pots and pans, coffee, tea and appliances. Smooth Wi-Fi access. The house was clean, the bedding and towels were clean and my husband with a bad back found the mattresses comfortable.I will say that we ended up buying gallon jugs of water to drink because we found the tap water to be too metallic tasting. But that wasn't a big issue.The beach nearby was lovely for a nice dunk in the Bay. Very family friendly and shallow waters. Plenty of space to spread out, home lives larger than it looks. Very clean which is my #1 criteria. Loved the history you could see in the house. Quiet neighborhood, easily walkable. For us, a huge benefit was being able to bring our dogs--including leashes for us to use (I had brought really long leads in the hopes we'd be outside more). Weather was not ideal for us so we were unable to walk the path to the water. We visit the area frequently, this is a very convenient location to Mathews and Haven Beach.
