Best location for the montreaux jazz festival in 2025. Lovely staff for check in and help. Loved the deck view of lake. Walked to get fruit sandwiches and enjoyed our lunch on deck. Only suggestion is upgrade bathrooms.

It is within walking distance from the train station. The ferry to Chillon Castle is just across the road. Excellent hotel. The staff checking us in was most helpful and friendly. Although we arrived before the 3 pm checked in time, she was able to facilitate an early check in without any fuss.

A neat, clean three star property. What I didnā€™t like was that the hotel had no intercom and no one at the reception after 7 or so in the evening. That is a safety hazard too and not great for me as a guest either.

We were able to check in early and stire our luggage after check out. Reception automated but when we rang bell receptionist immediately came on three occasions. Receptionist very cheerful and helpful.

The room is fair size but the air conditioning unit is rather small and noisy. The pillows are hard. The room has no fridge or safe box. The towels are old and been around for a long time. I would rate it less than a two stars hotel in North America standard. Smelly washroom. The price is outrageous. We paid over $700 Canadian dollar per night.

Montreax has been a highlight for us during our trip to Switzerland. And part of it has been our stay in this hotel. I know Iā€™m spelling this wrong but the gentleman whose name is pronounced Chubby was so kind and helpful. We loved our room and all staff members were very kind.

The location is excellent, right across from Lake Geneva, with beautiful views and easy access to shops, restaurants, and the promenade. The room was clean and comfortable, though shower space does not have solid separation, but just curtain. It may depend on room. I had a slight lake view through the window, which was a nice touch. Check-in was smooth, and everything I needed for a short stay was provided.

We have NEVER written a bad review about a property. Here it goes. MOLD in all areas of the bathroom. No Air Conditioning. TV did not originally work. Broken lamp. Grit on the floor. Please do not book this hotel EVER. A great location for the Jazz Fest, but that it it! PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY if you have another choice.
