The living room is very cozy. The rest of the apartment, however, could definitely use some renovations. In particular, the bathroom floor tiles are falling apart and the shower/tub is quite run down. We had an issue with entry on the keypad at one point, but the host was responsive and sent someone to help us. Overall the host was very responsive and hospitable and we had a successful trip, but I would suggest some updates to the apartment itself. ##### Autumn F. Overall it’s a great value for the money, but it is showing its age. Be warned that there are two steep flights of stairs to get to the unit, not a problem if you travel light :-) Also, according to the description, McGill is a 12 minute walk away, but it actually took more than half an hour to get there, in case that’s important to you. The host was super helpful. In addition to some restaurant tips, he helped iron out some difficulty with one of the door locks straight away. It was just right for our visit. ##### Ingrid M.
