It sits near (and behind) the Polygone. The best approach is to leave from the upper floor of the train station through the doors to the north and take the metal footbridge directly onto the street where the tram runs. Cross the street and tram tracks and then follow that sidewalk down the incline bending to the left and then rising slightly back up. The tram tracks will be running along your right as you walk. There is a set of stone stairs that goes up toward a small wooded area in front of the property, but the Mercure sign will be visible at the top of the hotel. Take the stairs up and go around the wooded area (left is probably best) to the front of the hotel. Total walking time is less than 15 minutes.
