Access to the sea is immediate since it suffices to walk down - no road traverser- on rocks or in a nearby creek. The apartment is a duplex with air conditioning on both levels and high ceilings that give it an undeniable originality. On the ground floor, after a beautiful entrance there is a large room for 2 extended by a balcony on ground floor overlooking a small garden. At this level, there is also a bathroom. Upstairs, where the ceiling height is particularly important, we discover a vast panorama: on the right the Cap Corse, on the left above the Ile Rousse which we admire the sunset in the evening from the terrace. This first floor is a large living room with a lounge area where there are 2 sofas that turn into beds in 160 cm and 120 cm wide and serves as a second bedroom. There is also a dining area, a very modern kitchen and a 2nd bathroom. The entire living room is parquet which gives it a warm character. This is the lounge area which is extended by the terrace where you can see the already mentioned view. In terms of equipment, the apartment is fully air conditioned. There is a TV, Hifi chain and broadband Internet access. The apartment has a covered parking in the basement, which is very significant in summer. Home delivery is included in the rent, as well as sheets, blankets / comforters, and towels. On the reception upon arrival, a trusted welcomes you, hands you the keys, makes you visit the apartment provides you with inventory and gives you information about the place and the region. To return to the external environment of the apartment, I have already mentioned the direct access to the sea. Also be aware that a small path at the foot of the residence follows along the coast and can reach the beach of Ile Rousse in 10 minutes walk. It is understood that this beach as other nearby are reached by car but the purpose here is to indicate that there is an alternative to the car to go swimming. Similarly, you will go to the city of Ile Rousse by car or walk in 15 minutes along the small coastal path. L'Ile Rousse is a nice little town animated in any season where there are bars and restaurants shaded squares. Every morning there is a market in the covered market and a Casino supermarket is located downtown. A Leclerc hypermarket is located at the southern tip of Ile Rousse towards Calvi. A railway station allows you to go to Calvi, Bastia or Corte. The train ride through the Balagne and the mountain is beautiful and sometimes with impressive peaks in the west coast of Corsica. If you want to see a bit inside, Corte, in the valley of Asco or the forest of Bonifatu you'll discover streams and water basins where you get immense pleasure to refresh you and picnic lunch. It should also visit the many villages of Balagne, but also those a little more secrets of the Castagniccia, without forgetting the Cap Corse, Saint-Florent, the areas of the famous Patrimonio wine and amazing desert Agriates. ## Property amenities ### Beach - Traumhafter Panorama-Blick auf‘s Meer und ein kleiner nahezu privater Strand 5 min. fußläufig. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, Verbrauchsgüter alle vorhanden (Spüli, Spüllappen, Schwamm, Spülmaschienen-Tabs, Müllbeutel, Waschmaschienen-Tabs). Appartment war exzelent sauber mit mehr als genug Platz für 4 Personen. Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage (lediglich die Einfahrt bietet Verbesserungspotenzial, normaler Familien-Kombi setzte an der Schwelle jedes mal auf). Stadt L‘ille Rousse in 20 min fußläufig erreichbar. Wir sind sehr nett empfangen worden, was für uns schon immer sehr wichtig ist. Es war eine herrliche Ruhe, da in der Nebensaison keine Nachbarn anwesend waren. In der Hauptsaison würden wir allerdings nicht buchen. Die Wohnungen nebenan sind leider kaum abgetrennt, sodass der Balkon oder die Terrasse keine Privatsphäre bieten. Der Strand direkt in der Nähe der Anlage ist leider zum Schwimmen nicht geeignet, da er sehr felsig ist. Ein sehr schöner Sandstrand ist nur in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Der ist allerdings unglaublich schön. Der Fussweg nach L‘ill Rousse ist sehr schön und macht echt Spaß. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder da Urlaub machen. A l’étage nous avions l’impression d’être sur le pont d’un bateau avec la vue mer si proche. Nous avons également apprécié le chemin qui mène aux rochers et la crique en dessous pour son côté sauvage. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce beau duplex idéalement situé dans un quartier que nous connaissons bien et apprécions particulièrement. Nous avons aimé l'espace, le confort et l'ambiance de l'appartement, sans oublier la climatisation salvatrice pour des nuits reposantes. L'accès à la plage est pratique car on peut y aller à pied ainsi que toutes les criques magnifiques au pied de la résidence accessibles à pied également. Vous pouvez aller à pied à la plage et jusqu'au village de l'Ile Rousse. Par contre, il y a un escalier qui va de la chambre du bas à la salle à manger et cuisine à l'étage du dessus. Donc il faut être mobile. Un rideau occultant dans la chambre du bas serait nécessaire car le jour passe dès 5 h 30 du matin et perturbe le sommeil. Il y a certains jours des remontées de canalisations en bas. A l'étage la promiscuité avec les voisins du balcon attenant peut être gênant, il faudrait mettre une séparation plus haute afin d'avoir plus d'intimité. Il faut, pour plus de transparence, ne pas catégoriser ce logement comme ayant 2 chambres. Il s'agit tout au plus d'1 chambre + 1 canapré d'appoint La 2ème chambre - et c'est bien décrit dans le descriptif - est assuré par un couchage canapé. Le cloisement par paravent est trop léger. L'espace dévolu à cette 2ème chambre est en fait le salon que nous devons traverser sans arrêt pour rejoindre la terrasse. Il n'y a aucun rangement prévu pour ce espace simili-2de chambre. Nous pourrions nous satisfaire de ces aléas à une seule condition : que le couchage soit de qualité. C'est la dessus que nous sanctionnons votre location : le couchage canapé n'est vraiment pas de bonne qualité; matelas trop fin, sommier acier qui couine au moindre mouvement. Notre sommeil a donc été gâché. Au final, le rapport Qualité/Prix avec ce désagrément de couchage n'est plus au rdv. ##### Hervé C.
