Nestled in the heart of the picturesque mountain landscape, this spacious and luxurious retreat is the perfect destination for your next family vacation or group getaway. Perfectly situated between Jay Peak Resort and Montgomery Center, enjoy all that this area has to offer. The Space: With 5 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, our chalet comfortably accommodates up to 11 guests, making it ideal for families, friends, or multiple couples. The primary suite offers a private sanctuary with its own en-suite bathroom, complete with soaking tub and stand-up shower, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. Each room is thoughtfully designed according to local culture to provide both comfort and style, creating an inviting atmosphere for all. Step into either of the 2 living rooms where you'll be greeted by a cozy gas fireplace in each space and ample seating for everyone to gather around after a thrilling day on the slopes. Watch the snow fall on the mountainside while you gaze out the large windows as the fire roars. The fully equipped kitchen is complete with modern appliances and plenty of space to prepare delicious meals. The dining area boasts a large table for your entire group. And don't forget to unwind in the evening on the large deck, where you can take in breathtaking mountain views and fresh alpine air. Our favorite time is when the sun goes down and thousands of stars appear in the clear mountain sky. Whether you're a seasoned skier or a first-timer, the slopes here offer a variety of runs suitable for all skill levels. And during the warmer months, the area transforms into a haven for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts, with numerous trails weaving through the stunning natural landscapes (including The Long Trail). There’s even a championship golf course for the avid golfers in your group. You’ll have access to our community recreation space in Alpine Haven as well. The pool is a short walk, as is the sand volleyball court, tennis court, and disc golf course. Our neighborhood even maintains hiking trails of our own, that you are welcome to enjoy. If you're traveling with the family, you're in luck! The area hosts a range of family-friendly events year-round, from seasonal festivals and live music to outdoor movie nights. There is no parking allowed in the road. Snow tires/4 wheel drive – Consider utilizing a vehicle that is equipped to handle snowy dirt roads. Luckily our chalet is only ¼ mile from the entrance of the neighborhood. En-suite tub – Currently the jacuzzi jets are not on, but feel free to use it as a soaking tub. We have Ladybugs! The Northeast Kingdom of VT has tons of Ladybugs, we apologize for the inconvenience, the cleaners do there best to stay on top of them and we have a vacuum available to guests to get rid of them. Local Attractions: Skiing at Jay Peak is obviously the biggest draw to the area, with its true to life reputation for the “most snow in eastern North America” and 81 trails, but did you know that Jay Peak also offers a year-round indoor waterpark? That’s right, you can enjoy water slides, a lazy river, surfing, and a full bar at 85 degrees while it’s 25 degrees outside. The “Ice Haus” arena, which is also at the resort, welcomes hundreds of hockey and ice skaters every year. After a day of adventure, explore the local dining scene. Being close to the front of the neighborhood made winter access easy, even with icy roads. The layout was perfect for our group, with a primary bedroom upstairs, two bedrooms near the main living area, and two more bedrooms plus a separate living space in the basement, giving everyone plenty of room and privacy.The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants and things to do. Nick was extremely cooperative when just a few days before our visit when we had an issue which caused us to shorten our stay. He was very accessible all throughout our visit. Plenty of space and parking for everyone. House was super clean and cozy and the separate living space downstairs works great for families with small children. The house was perfect. Nice big table for all to gather for a meal and games. Kitchen was very well stocked, though I would recommend to bring a large pot. The non-stick fry pans were in perfect condition for eggs. TV worked well to catch the NCAA Championship games. I was able to access my accounts with the Roku. Great common spaces for lounging. Drive slow on the dirt roads are rugged. Community roads are nice for a walk, hiking boots suggested. ##### April N. Our three generation family of 9 stayed here for a birthday ski adventure and it was brilliant. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, excellent space for relaxing and visiting together, we cooked all of our meals and had space to sit at the dining room table together.
