"Being in our room here almost felt like being in an upscale cabin or treehouse! It was very quiet and peaceful. There were thunderstorms at night and I loved listening to them while lying in bed. "We enjoyed staying at the Mar Inn. Christine at the front desk showed us the map of the city and guided us to a couple of very good restaurants. Breakfast was very good as well. Close to the cloud forest and a Sloth sanctuary. Tip, park at the parking lot that says Offical Parking & take the shuttle, there is really no parking at the park entrance. "

The grounds are well maintained, the breakfast service was great and the staff was friendly. Just across the street are some decent restaurants and a grocery store.
