L'autoroute E45 Terni-Pérouse est à 12 km. La villa est idéale pour les familles avec de jeunes enfants, elle dispose d'un jardin entièrement clôturé (à usage privé du locataire) et il est possible de fermer l'accès à la piscine. La piscine se trouve entre le jardin de la villa que vous louez et la villa du propriétaire. Le propriétaire n'utilise pas la piscine lorsque la villa de vacances est louée pour l'intimité des invités (c'est-à-dire que le locataire a une piscine à sa disposition pour son usage privé/exclusif). De la piscine, vous avez une vue panoramique sur la campagne et les collines, la zone de la piscine est équipée de chaises longues/parasols et il y a aussi un gazebo avec chaises et table. La piscine mesure 14x6 mètres avec une profondeur de 1,2 à 2 mètres, des escaliers romains pour entrer dans la piscine. La villa est équipée d'une couverture de nuit, utile pour éviter la perte de température de l'eau (utile pour avoir une piscine plus chaude en mai-juin-septembre). La villa de vacances est à 30 mètres de la piscine. La villa de vacances a son propre jardin d'environ 2000 m². Dans le jardin, il y a une balançoire et un toboggan, une annexe avec ping-pong et baby-foot. À côté de la villa, il y a un gazebo avec table et chaises pour manger en plein air et un porche avec barbecue et four à pizza. La villa dispose au rez-de-chaussée d'une grande cuisine/salle à manger. La cuisine a été rénovée en 2018\. Il y a aussi une cheminée pour cuisiner. La table extensible peut accueillir 10 personnes. Le salon est équipé de 3 canapés (pour un total de 8-9 places + chaises), d'une télévision à écran plat et d'une cheminée. Il y a des toilettes entre le salon et la salle à manger. Il y a une chambre au rez-de-chaussée, elle a un accès direct au jardin, un lit double et une salle de bain en suite avec douche. Au premier étage, il y a 4 chambres (1 avec lit double + lit supplémentaire, 1 avec lit double et deux avec 2 lits simples chacune). Les chambres avec lit double + lit supplémentaire ont une salle de bain en suite avec douche. Il y a 2 autres salles de bain au premier étage (une avec douche, une avec baignoire), celles-ci sont à usage commun aux 3 autres chambres. La propriété est à distance de marche (400 mètres) du bar/pizzeria et de l'épicerie. Il est possible d'acheter directement auprès du propriétaire de l'huile d'olive et du vin. MAISON (entièrement à votre usage privé) : Rez-de-chaussée : salon avec cheminée et accès au jardin (barbecue, four à bois), salle à manger avec cheminée séparée par 3 marches du salon, cuisine, 1 chambre avec salle de bain en suite (douche, WC). We, our children, in-law children and grandchildren have had 14 wunderfull days in Farnetta. The house was lovely, the pool as well, clean and nice. The descriptions of house, garden and pool fit well. The hosts were very accommodating and immediately sorted out the small issues we got. A small appeal: The description of the surroundings states that there is a pizzaria and a grocery in town. Overall very good, a lovely pool and a games room with table tennis and table football. Rome was reached by train from Terni. ( but check ticket prices as it varies enormously depending on the train) Lake Bolsena, Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Bagnoregio and Cascade del Marmore are all easily reached by car. Village pizzeria is excellent. We drove from Rome Fiumicino Airport, very easy using Autostrada. My family all enjoyed the soft river rafting near Marmore. Drank the local wine and eat pizza from the restaurant around the corner - both very nice and great value for the money spent. A lot of cozy villages close by. Nice excursion to the waterfall and Lago do Bolsena. Good for adults and children. Nice to be able to close the gate to the pool when having small children. Only a few downsides to mention (but overall SO GOOD): - very low pressure in showers upstairs - would be nice to have a small grocery story close by - check in was not optional. The lady arrived about one hour late (long wait in the heat with small children) and when finally there she gave us the wrong property. Also a bit hard to communicate since she didn’t speak any English. But a very friendly lady - just a bit confused! :) I’m guessing that a lot of parties arrived almost at the same time made her confused… no hard feelings but check in process could be improved for next time Overall a very nice stay and we’re very satisfied and would love to come back again in the future. ##### Anna F. It was exactly as shown on the site. Really nice, spacious villa. We were 3 couples, so plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Massimo, Paolo and Orietta looked after us really well. When we arrived a lightning storm had killed the internet, but the next morning the IT guys appeared and eventually got it fixed. Similarly, there was a small problem with the water supply that was rapidly solved. The hosts’ wine was delicious and really good value. Pool and grounds were well kept and lovely views. Plenty of sun beds etc. We used the outside kitchen most evenings, including the pizza oven and everything went very well. All in all, we had a great week - all the better as we had waited so long. The distance to Rome airport was just right, from a convenience point of view, and we found plenty to do, whether it was wandering round the corner for a pizza or exploring the waterfalls at Cascata delle Marmore. Lo spazio comune è comodissimo per più persone; la scala che suddivide la zona cucina dalla zona soggiorno lo rende ancora più piacevole. I due camini (uno nella zona cucina, l'altro nella zona soggiorno) sono piacevolissimi da vivere in compagnia. We were three generations, grandparents travelling with two daughters and their families, and the villa was perfect for us. Before arrival, all organisation was very straightforward, just do ring ahead to warn of imminent arrival. Within the house, the bedrooms were beautifully furnished with lovely antique furniture, and the layout allowed the two families upstairs each to have their own 'wing' with two bedrooms and bathrooms on each side. Downstairs the kitchen has everything needed, including two fridges (one with quite a stubborn door!) there is a comfortable sitting area though we spent most of our time taking advantage of the different outside areas - breakfast in the sun, snacks by the pool with its utterly stunning views and dinners by the BBQ and the pizza oven - both of which we used. Do ask for the olive oil and honey - both were delicious. My only other advice to future visitors would be to do a large supermarket shop at the beginning of your stay for all your basics and do use the local pizzeria which is excellent. Otherwise most excursions took a while - it is half an hour into Todi (excellent ice cream!) Thankyou for everything - it was spotless on arrival, the pool is cleaned daily, there were fresh flowers on the table outside by the pool - all much appreciated. It is by far the loveliest villa we have stayed in. We will be back! ##### Pippa T. We were 8 adults and 2 children and everyone was very happy. Paolo was extremely helpful in answering questions on arrival and providing us with all the information we needed and catering to our needs - his wine and olive oil were both superb! This part of Umbria is simply beautiful and the villa is within easy reach of the popular places of Spoleto and Todi as well as smaller but equally lovely towns of Narni and San Gemini. I have one negative comment and one suggestion: Firstly, access to the pool is not precisely as described. The pool is adjacent to the owner's house and some distance from the villa with a gated fence between the two properties. There were two occasions when we would have liked to use the pool but found it already in use by the owner's family. The owner and his wife were extremely hospitable and I am sure they would have moved if we had asked them to. However, we should not have been placed in this situation given the published statement that the pool is for the "private use of the tenant" and "the owner doesn't use the pool when the holiday villa is rented for the privacy of the guests." The suggestion is that the file of useful information is reviewed & updated to include doctors, hospital, banks, shops etc. instead of just a series of local maps, phone numbers of the odd restaurant and a pile of largely out-of-date brochures. This suggestion was conveyed to the owner prior to our departure. Despite these comments, however, our stay was an extremely enjoyable one.. ##### Richard W.
