This is a decent place for the price. The sunset beach is within walkable distance, and the lighthouse is approx. 12 min. away by car.

I liked the location of this hotel. You could walk across the street a couple hundred ft and see an amazing Sunset. Close to nice restaurants. Nice staff as well.

The location in Montauk was great. The staff also was great- Once you're checked in, they have a texting system so you can respond with questions or let them know if you need anything that way which I found very convenient. The pool area was nice, and it was nice that even though we got there before we could check in, we had access to that area. While it is in Montauk and we were there during a summer weekend, which is an expensive area and time to be there, it still felt like we were paying way too much for the room- the room was perfectly normal and clean but it's still a motel room. The beds were comfy.

Air conditioning was broken. We wanted to go to dinner, and had a conversation with front desk manager who said she wouldn’t go into our room while we were gone. I received a text from Colleen after she went into my room after inspecting the air conditioner. Then she denied ever saying anything. Violation of space/trust and lie on top of lie from staff.

We never lie or violated your space, you were very rude with Colleen when she was only trying to help you. Besides one front desk attendant that was beyond inviting and sweet, everything about this place was disappointing. We found a few ants in the room, and there was absolutely no service or wifi in our room. If it did work, it was for 2 minutes before it crashed again. The motel claims there is free wifi but both servers they gave us did not work well at all. When i called about this, a woman at the desk said “well it’s working for me so”. Also, the pool was not cleaned yet even tho we stayed after memorial day. We didn’t have access to all the amenities such as the grill or pool. There was no coffee machine or microwave in the room, so it was basically up to us to go out everyday and drive 30 minutes to the market to get food if we didn’t want to spend money on 3 meals a day. You have to drive everywhere to get anything, and the nearest Dunkin is 50 minutes away. CVS is 30 minutes away. The town is about 25 minutes away. The beach is not on site as well. The beach is a 10-15 minute drive, but the bay is across the street. There was nothing really to do here and honestly, not worth the amount we paid. I’m very disappointed. I did think one of the desk attendants was very friendly and caring, but the others were just straight up rude. I wish I got her name so I could tell her boss how nice she was.

Dear Guest, Her name is Colleen and we will make sure to let her know, thank you very much for your lovely comment about her, we apologize about all the inconveniences you encounter during your stay at Haven, bay beach is accross the street since we are located on the harbor side of Montauk however the beach is beautiful, the ocean side is only a 10 minute drive and we offer beach parking permits, the picnic are was not closed, we are very sorry about the confusion there. We did had an issue with the pool and it was closed, we apologize about that. The rooms only have a mini fridges however we do offer coffee and tea in the office all day and we have Tony's market right behind the hotel where you can get pretty much anything you need. Hope you will give another opportunity and come back to stay with us again. We are working on improving all the rooms and amenities so guests can have the experience they deserve. Best Regards,

Walking distance to the Harbor
The hotel was very pleasantly located near the harbor which was a nice surprise. the Room was clean and the fire pit / picnic area was also an added benefit. The rooms were no frills but very clean.

Beautiful boutique motel right on the LI Sound in Montauk. Near Gossmans dock and charter boats. Great restaurants and shops nearby. The sunset from our deck was stunning. We had a one bedroom suite with living room, fridge, AC and kitchenette. I highly recommend Haven!!!

They hardly make hotels like this anymore. It's a bare-bones kind of place, needing significant upgrading. THe staff was on the gruff side. The breakfast was apples and yoghurt. The overall feeling is Motel-6'ish. But on the up-side, it's location is great, out at a spit of land in Montauk Harbor (not Montauk Village, not Montauk Point). Lovely views.

Das war ok, aber im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis etwas dürftig. Eine relativ einfache Unterkunft mit Schwächen wenn das Wetter schlecht ist. Dann kann es, zumindest im Oktober, mal kalt und dunkel in den Räumen sein. Die eingestellten Bilder sind in jedem Fall sehr vorteilhaft erstellt worden. Und das Bild vom Bad fehlt nicht ohne Grund….
