The oil mill "Il Molino" has a large living room with fireplace, large dining table, comfortable couch and beautifully integrated old mill facilities. In the lower area there is a bedroom with 2 beds (double bed) and a toilet. The couch in the living room can also be converted into a sofa bed with 1-2 beds. In the upper area is another bedroom with double bed, a separate toilet and a large, beautiful designer bathroom with huge shower and 2 vanities. From the rear entrance area leads to the terrace and the large garden, which is located directly on the river. There are beautiful river baths and beautiful wild romantic places where you can enjoy the tranquility and relax wonderfully. Il Molino is a 10 minute walk below the historic town of Montalto Ligure with a very good restaurant, bar and a small shop. To the next larger town Badalucco in the beautiful Argentina Valley is about 3 km, to Arma di Taggia or Sanremo with beaches, beautiful old towns, supermarkets etc. about 20 minutes. Beautiful destinations nearby are z. B. Nice (about 1:15 hours) or Menton on the French border. Il Molino is perfect for family holidays with its large garden and river baths away from the tourist bustle. Also for cyclists or motorcyclists. You can make beautiful walks and bicycle or motorcycle tours in the area. It has a practical kitchen with many tools, two bathrooms, a pleasant and large shower area, romantic lights in the garden and the sound of frogs at night and the sight of fireflies.The nearby village of Montalto is very nice. It also has a great restaurant. Also close is Badalucco, a very lively place with warm, welcoming inhabitants. Only disadvantage was the unpredictability of the weather. But on a bad day you can easily drive to Taggia and either go east or west where the weather may be different. Sep 9, 2025 Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy Als wir spät am Abend ankamen hatten wir Mühe den Eingang zur Mühle zu finden, da es bereits dunkel war. Der Schlüsseltresor klemmte so fest, dass wir uns gefragt haben, ob uns der Vermieter die richtige Kombination genannt hatte. Drin angekommen, war alles so dunkel, dass man sich schwer orientieren konnte. Im unteren Schlafzimmer gab es keinen Schrank, oder ein Regal, in dem man seine Kleider hätte aufhängen, oder ablegen können, so dass wir spät nachts zwei Regale aus dem oberen Schlafzimmer von oben über die Treppe nach unten tragen mussten.Wer in der Ölmühle einen funktionierenden Telefon/Internetanschluss sucht, wird hier nicht fündig werden. Jetzt kann man sich fragen ob man das im Urlaub unbed. braucht? Antwort: Wenn man - wie dort - in einem Tal ohne Mobilfunkverbindung fernab der Zivilisation ist und gelegentlich Ausflugsziele oder Restaurants im Internet googeln möchte, spätestens dann, Ja. Warum soll ich im Urlaub auf einen Komfort verzichten der zu Hause ganz normal ist? Dann brauche ich auch keinen Urlaub. Zu dem hat der Vermieter dies unfairerweise leider überhaupt nicht in seiner Beschreibung stehen. Sonst hätte man, zum einen einen anderen Aufenthaltsort wählen, oder sich zumindest vor Abreise noch um geeignete Hadware kümmern können. Ein Tag nach der Anreise wurde uns dann noch per E-mail die Nachricht geschickt, dass die Spülmaschine defekt ist und er - weil er nicht vor Ort ist - sich nicht darum kümmern kann. Nach einer spannenden Anfahrt zur Mühle erwartete uns genau das, was versprochen wurde...eine liebevoll sanierte Ölmühle...von außen ursprünglich, innen toll eingerichtet mit allem, was man braucht. Auf 2 Etagen hatten wir viel Platz. Der Außenbereich war sehr gemütlich, der Grill wirklich von Vorteil. Das nahe gelegene Flussbad haben wir nahezu täglich genutzt. Nach unseren Tagesausflügen (Sanremo, Monaco, Arma di Taggia, Glori) haben wir es immer genossen in die Ruhe der Mühle zurückzukehren. Auch unsere mitreisenden Teenies hatte kaum das Bedürfnis abends die Gemütlichkeit der Mühle zu verlassen.Il Molino...der vielleicht ungewöhnlichste Ort, an dem wir bisher Urlaub gemacht haben, aber auch einer der schönsten... ##### Anja L. Die Ausstattung des Objektes hat uns positiv überrascht. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft. Einmal die vielen Flußbäder, die in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar sind erkundet, und das ca. 30 Minuten entfernt Mittelmeer ist absolut uninteressant. Auch die kleinen Ortschaften in unmittelbarer Nähe sind einen Ausflug wert. Wir können euch Andreas zauberhafte Ölmühle nur empfehlen. Nur noch der Hinweis an alle, die mit etwas größeren Autos im Hinterland unterwegs sind (wir waren mit unserer V-Klasse da), immer die Nerven behalten... Einfach zu erreichen sind einige schöne und interessante Städte.Die alte Ölmühle ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Es ist alles sehr sauber und alles vorhanden, was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Sicherlich auch für andere interessant, auch im März bekommt man das Haus schön warm. Ein Haus zum zum entspannen und wohlfühlen. Nach dem öffnen der Tür brauchte ich nur ein Wort, Wow. Die Mühle ist wirklich etwas besonderes, mit viel Liebe eingerichtet wo man sich wohlfühlen kann. Man fühlt sich von Anfang an sehr wohl, die Lage ist fast einmalig, wegen des am Garten liegenden Flusses. Herrliche Natur, sehr ruhig. Sep 27, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Leben in der Natur, aber Nähe zum Dorf Die umgebaute Ölmühle besitzt ein wunderschönes Außengelände mit vielen verschiedenen Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Inneneinrichtung und die Ausstattung ist umfassend, man findet alles, was man benötigt. Die Badezimmer sind neu und modern. Uns hat besonders die Nähe zum Bach gefallen, in dem man sich bei warmem Wetter gut abkühlen kann. Dadurch hat man das Gefühl, sich mitten in der Natur zu befinden. Trotzdem ist das nahe gelegene, sehr malerische Dorf nach einem kleinen Aufstieg fußläufig zu erreichen. Dort gibt es eine kleine Bar, ein gutes Restaurant und an einigen Tagen auch eine Weinbar in Nähe der Kirche. Jun 20, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Ruhe und Erholung Abseits der Touristenströme, mitten in der Natur und doch in (Fuß-) Reichweite des Dorfes mit Bar und Restaurant und schneller automobiler Erreichbarkeit aller erforderlicher Läden. Die ehemalige Mühle ist liebevoll neugestaltet und mit allem Komfort aufgestattet. Die auf den Photos sichtbare Holzbrücke war zu unserem Vorteil wegen einer laufenden Sanierung gesperrt. Normalerweise muss man/frau wohl davon ausgehen, dass dort ab und zu (im Schnitt vielleicht viermal am Tag) ein Auto oder eine Piaggio Ape darüberfahren. Wer im Flüsschen baden möchte, sollte Wikipedia vertrauen, dass die örtlich zu erwartenden kleinen Schlangen (Gelb-grüne Zornnatter lt. Google) tatsächlich harmlos sind :-) Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt und könnten uns einen neuerlichen Aufenthalt sehr gut vorstellen. ##### Carmen R. Aug 11, 2021 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Ansprechende Unterkunft in schöner Lage Die restaurierte Mühle liegt sehr schön in einem Tal mit Blick auf Montalto Ligure am Fluss Carpesina. In der Umgebung kann gewandert, direkt am Haus im Fluss gebadet und die mittelalterlichen Orte besichtigt werden. Ein weiteres etwas größeres Flußbad ist in 15 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar und zum Meer fährt man etwa 30 Minuten. Die Lage ist recht ruhig. Zu hören sind das Flussrauschen, das Bellen der Hunde, die Frösche und mal ein Auto, welches die schmale wunderschöne alte Steinbrücke quert. Die Holzbrücke, die am Gartenaußenbereich vorbeiführt, wird gerade restauriert. Es gibt im Haus kein WLAN aber eine gute Mobilfunkverbindung, daher ausreichend Datenvolumen mitbringen. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, die Terrasse ist überdacht und die Wohnküche groß genug, um sich auch bei Regen aufhalten zu können. In Montalto gibt es 2 Restaurants (empfehlenswert: La Finestrella. Hier gibt es eine den Gästen sehr zugewandte Gastgeberin, die für alle Wünsche eine Lösung findet). Auch die einfache Pizzeria in Badalucco ist sehr nett. ##### Martin Z. Nach langer Coronapause endlich mal wieder Bella Italia und noch mehr bella geht es kaum. In völliger Abgeschiedenheit inmitten von traumhafter Natur haben wir die Zeit mit Tauchbädern im Fluss, Spaziergängen durch malerische Örtchen, Ausflügen ans Meer und in nahe Städtchen, Besuch des wundervollen Hanburygarden, vielen kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten und natürlich dem täglichen Aperetivo ausgiebigst genossen!
