Fantastic cottage in great location. The cottage is immaculate and so comfortable. Log burner is great (in fact 2 log burners) with logs in outdoor log store. Brilliant pub next door that serves lovely food and ales and the locals are so friendly. The location is amazing as its right on the river and the night skies are so clear. We had a power cut one evening but even that's not a problem. We parked over the bridge as that seemed easier than negotiating the tight lanes on the welsh side and had no problems leaving the car overnight in a pretty deserted car park. Would love to return here as its the perfect chill out place. Cant think of anything negative at all. This was the second time we had been here. It's in a lovely location and a good place to explore the Forest of Dean and South & Mid Wales. A car would be essential for most people. For some people the lack of internet connection may be an issue 'though wifi is available at the pub next door. For others it's great for a digital detox.
