While the boat slip is not available for renter use, our deep-water dock provides the perfect spot for swimming, relaxing, and soaking in the scenery of Smith Mountain Lake. 2 kayaks, WIFI and awesome views! This rental sits right in the heart of SML. Grocery stores, fun for the kids, shopping, movie theater, all of it is just 5 minutes from the home. |This townhome is also close to 3 other rentals: Shore Thing, Point of View and Shorley Heaven.| This showcase home has a beautifully updated kitchen with granite countertops and new stainless steel kitchen appliances, complete with all the cookware and bakeware you will need to make your vacation a cullinary delight. The entire home has new paint and flooring throughout making it feel fresh and new. The colors in the home are relaxing and embody a modern upscale lake theme. The living room and dining room both have seating for 6\. There is a 55' smart tv in the living room as well as a 52' smart tv in the basement. The bedrooms have 50' tvs, but with the sunrises and sunset, party deck at the dock, great swimming and boating, watching tv will be the last thing on your mind. There is wifi at the home if you need to squeeze in some work while you are on vacation, and there is even a cozy desk in the living room for you to set up your laptop. Bedding: Upper Level #1 King #2 Queen Lower Level #Bunk Beds Full over Full with a Qsleep sofa The bedrooms are large and comfortable; each bed has a new memory foam mattress. The master bedroom (with full bath) has a small balcony and what a view! The 2nd bedroom is also on the upper level (shares a full bath with the hall). Downstairs is the kid's bunk room that can double as a rec room, complete with a sitting area, tv, and it's own full bath. (all the bathrooms have been remodeled and are beautiful!) There is a gas grill on the patio if you want to catch dinner while you are playing on the lake, or grilling burgers is always a hit. The walk to the dock is short and gentle. The party deck is perfect for catching some sun, so throw on your bathing suit, grab a beach towel, and go enjoy! Renters may not bring pets to the Waterfront - Section V. Any renters found to have pets will be given 24-hours in which to either have them boarded or to vacate the townhouse. This was by far our favorite and the one we will book from now on! This unit was beautifully remodeled, decorated nicely without being overly cluttered and had great extras. The balconies were clean, the video game machines were cool, the walk to the water was perfect. The other units we stayed at don't have stairs leading to the docks. This one did. That made the daily trips to the water way easier. We loved that this was in a cove but still on the main channel. The dock as usual was a blast and we spent a ton of time jumping and diving into the water. We absolutely loved our stay. And the property managers are AMAZING. We had an issue with the wifi which was not anyone's fault, a cord wasn't plugged in. I had to work in the morning and Jessica came over at 9pm to literally fix it for us. Perfect customer service and they are locals who truly care about their guests having a great vacation. Book here, you won't regret it. ##### Christine O. I’m not sure if it’s a new policy with VRBO, but none of the towels/linens or paper products were provided- they could be rented but seemed a little expensive. Having to bring towels sheets and toilet paper felt inconvenient for paying hundreds of dollars for our stay. Everything else was great though and they were quick to respond to all messages and gave us an early check in. This was a great place to stay. Unfortunately it rained the whole time so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful outdoor space. We did find that neither upstairs bathroom had a working outlet. Also, we are used to locations that provide basic supplies such as paper towels, salt and pepper, dishwashing liquid/detergent and trash bags. We ran out of toilet paper. These objects were not available which were a bit inconvenient as we were not prepared for that. The beds were great! Overall we loved the space and location. As it was so rainy it was a great place to chill and rest with our daughter! We definitely recommend the space and would love to have the opportunity to stay here again! ##### Erick B. Recent updates make it feel fresh and modern. An earlier review noted wobbly dining room chairs which still exist but were totally serviceable. We grilled steaks the first night on the gas grill and it worked perfectly. Loved the views from our balcony and the floating dock! ##### Richard C. We rented this condo with 2 friends for a long weekend and had plans every day we were there so we didn’t spend much time on the property. The unit was updated and nice. We enjoyed the party deck and ability to have a boat while we were there. Neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. They left a review at the house. It was a beautiful place and very convenient to our unit in B Building. Only complaints: No real storage for food in the kitchen BUT counters are spacious so we made due, would highly recommend they get some better bed pillows and the dryer took a few hours to dry a load of laundry - that said not deal breakers..
